I was curtly told they didn't have time for that with it sitting on their lot for over a week. I don't know if my appearance (long hair) or my having my service dogs with me. They kept trying to tell me that pets weren't allowed in the rental van my insurance secured because I have 2 large service dogs. Enterprise had no issues with this but the guy at Willbanks obviously did. Overall a very bad experience dealing with this shop.

Just glad that he wasn't dealing with that on the side of the road as he would have never gotten it off by hand. I've had better service in the past, but this would have been dangerous on the side of the road. Had to replace the whole set of lock lug nuts from the damage inflicted on one of them just adding cost that was totally unecessary.

I emptied the contents of the car so that the cleaners could clean everything. Before getting out of the car, I pointed out two stains (one on the ceiling above the driver side door and one on the ceiling in the rear seat) and asked they be cleaned. When I got the car back to go home, I didn't notice until I got home that the stains were not touched and the glove box was DIRTY...crumbs etc. They are so busy they miss details. I drove my dad's other car down to wash and detail it and was told they closed for the day. No notice on their FB page of the closing. Oh well. I drove back up to Sautee and waited for another time. Today was the next time I could go down (a few months later...now Feb 2025). I called Diamond to make sure they were open and when they were open. I was told at 9:30 that they were opening about 10:30 or 11 due to the cold weather. I drove down and got there a little after 10:30. I was told they weren't opening the wash/detail until noon. I explained to the woman at the counter that I called after 9 and was told 10:30 or 11. She replied the weather was to blame. I said it was sunny outside and the person told me 10:30 or 11 am. The young woman said the workers weren't coming in till later. Oh....so the workers come in when they want and I guess leave when they feel like it. The young woman got snotty and said "Honey, come back later." I'm not her honey and her rudeness is a fine example of why young people need training to work with the public. I will never return to Diamond again.

Thankfully, Mullinax Auto and Marine Repair was only a few minutes away, and they completely saved the day! As soon as we arrived, they performed a quick diagnostic on the engine and determined that we needed a radiator replacement. Incredibly, they were able to get the part in stock right away and had the whole thing fixed within just a few hours. The absolute best part of our experience however was the unmatched customer service. When we explained our original vacation plans for the day to the owner, Craig, he went completely above and beyond and personally drove us into town! Thanks to him, our family was still able to grab a wonderful lunch and enjoy some shopping in downtown Dahlonega while the car was being fixed up. Craig and Stacy were incredibly kind, courteous, professional, and so deeply helpful to us when we needed it the most. They turned a stressful breakdown into "a minor bump in the road."
