Unlike other spooky attractions this isn't just jump scares and played out tropes. It actually works to give chills and tingles, even to a jaded haunt goer such as myself. If this is the quality they put into all their productions, wow, what a gem I've been missing. Speaking of missing a hidden gem, it's tough to find behind all the construction right now, but it's 100% worth it.

Michael plays many instruments and Kevin still has moves he demonstrated in Footloose. The Monkey was considerably more crowded (full- about 500 guests) than the previous time we were there. This time, we sat and ate in the balcony. The Flying Monkey is owned by the Common Man restaurant chain so I was expecting their comfort food to be offered. Unfortunately, it was more ballpark (minor league) type fried food on paper plates. Word to the wise, go for the movies and concerts, not the food. Plastic silverware and fried food is offered (service is pathetic). Management gave us a voucher because of the incompetence of the staff. The Bacon brothers are worth seeing so it was a nice evening. 4.5 stars for the show- 2 stars for the food. Live and learn!

Finding the playhouse was easy and it's a few miles from downtown Meredith. Parking was really easy considering the show was sold out and the playhouse itself is picturesque and charming. The theatre only holds a couple of hundred so it's easy to get in and out. I would highly recommend coming to see a show. The actors are professionals and each show brings a different cast. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

We love the Winnie. But last night was the first awful experience suffering through The Odd Couple…read more "Oscar" was a very good actor. But Felix played it Sooo over the top as to be repulsive. Nothing like the original tv show. Why he chose this, who knows. It didn't help that the whole first act was not funny at all. His acting made it torturous. A couple people walked out before the first act was done and a few more after the close of it. We were tempted but hung in. The second act was a somewhat funny thanks to more characters, but still...we couldn't wait for it to be over. The following is not a comment on "Oscar's" weight but on the impact of it. He is very large and reminded us all of Ralph Kramden, but larger. The 6 of us were worried for him when he had to run back and forth a little bit and was then breathing Very heavy and sweating profusely even after sitting a while. I couldn't stop looking at him as he sat in a chair, to see if he was ok. Every time he crossed the stage his weight was a distraction from the his acting and from the play. It takes real talent and lots of practice to just roll with everything throw at them and to be able to improv it all. This is defiantly a show for adults. They folks are awesome. So much fun and so much laughing. I can't wait for another. They have experienced actors and occasionally some new members. They take lots of from topics from the audience. They do serious scenes in which actors take turns doing a serious scene and whenever the audience laughs they get tapped out. They do a scene where everyone is a character and one actor that has bee out of the room has to guess them all at a party. They often end with "sex with me is like ...." And the audience gives out the ideas. This is hilarious.

"Who's Holiday" - a show about a grown up Cindy Lou Who from the Grinch story. So, we all decided to check it out - making an evening of it with dinner beforehand at Front Room. Our experience was so lovely, we have already been back this year and saw "Popcorn Falls". This is a small community theater. It's not high tech, but it doesn't need to be. The shows are intimate with great actors. In addition, they have a small concession stand that sells beer, wine, cookies and other snacks. Tickets are reasonably priced and shows do sell out. Next time you hear about a new show at Good Theater that trips your trigger, don't just say - I should do that. Actually do it! Go see a show here!
