The appointment was made and on the appointed day Amy showed up, went over what she was going to do and when the leak was detected she showed me where, provided pictures, and made the repair. Fantastic Company & Service! Amy came to my house today to check a leak in my pool. She had said she would be here between 8 and 9, and she arrived at 8:45. She found and repaired my leak, but she went further than that. She repaired 3 of my spa jets, that had nothing to do with the leak. She also explained to me how my spa works, and told me about the stains in my pool, and the life expectancy of the surface of the pool. She said, the surface was in good shape, and I would see another 2-5; possibly 10 years before it would need to be resurfaced. She also has a number of companies she could give me, if I decided to do the resurfacing. Amy also said that there were no cracks, wear, or leaks around any of my other connections. She replaced the plug where my leak was, and the part was included in the price of her visit. Amy said she would email me an invoice, but I was NOT to pay it for a week, after I monitored the pool to be sure there were no other issues. She spent about 90 minutes here, and the price of the service (based on my location) was $300. Amy is a very positive and upbeat person; and you can tell she takes pride in her work. She knows her stuff, and explains it in a way a person can understand. She showed me every step she took to find my leaks, and how she repaired it. I didn't met Dan, but Amy told me "He's the A team, I'm a B.". Not in my book. Amy's an A Teamer too! I would highly recommend M&D Pool Leak Seekers for a number of reasons. First, their work is excellent. Second, they showed up on the day and time they said they would (it's sad to have to stay that, but we all know how it is in Florida with contractors). Third, they went over and above on providing me with details about my pool . Finally, and this is a big point, they took NO money upfront, and even told me not to pay the invoice for a week. I could not be more pleased that my regular pool guy ( who does not do repairs) recommended this outfit. Dan came out and spent over an hour searching for the leak - I was afraid it was going to cost me thousands, since I was certain that the leak was caused by a break in an underground pipe, but luckily that was not the case. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! They came out timely and seemed to know what they were doing and talking about. NOT SO MUCH! I still have the problem months later and email after email they are unwilling to come back out and see why the pool/spa was still leaking.
