Received message from Yelp Projects, requesting a service for junk removal. He told me to give him a call and got a quote for a flat fee. Sounded good so I contacted the guy directly through text; guy was responsive but with short answers. Requested availability and he provided an 8-10am service time the next day (Sunday). Provided addresses for pickup and confirmed they accepted credit card. I also told them to let me know if they needed anything. No texts after that, assuming everything was good. For pickup day, still no response. No confirmation. Waited the allotted time just to make sure the 8-10 was not for arrival time. Not sure if it was just not scheduled or just a missed appointment, but they ended up not coming. So I texted them back saying I will go to a different service. Lesson learned on my part. make sure to talk to the guy on the phone and get verbal or written confirmation and verify arrival time. read more

M& H demolition removed an old wood playset and a two-story tree house that my granddaughters no longer used. We had cut it up and the pile was very large, contacted M&H on yelp and they responded quickly. They are professional and worked hard to get the pile hauled away. The cost was reasonable for the amount of labor involved. Hashem works hard and cleaned the area of the small debris as well. This was one of the worst experience I've ever had with doing business with a company. They wasted my time for two months. They wasted my money. Promised a refund and never gave me my money back. My basement flooded and I hired them to demo the basement first and was going to hire them to also replace all drywall, flooring, paint etc. I paid for the demo and the man literally never showed up again besides a few days and it wasn't him. He sent a few of his friends a few days and they cut crooked lines in the dry wall that were suppose to be being replaced. He ordered a dumpster that they never came to fill up with the basement furniture that was suppose to be trashed. The dumpster was picked up and it was still empty. I begged and pleaded for him to finish. He wasted my time for not weeks but months with empty promises. He finally said he couldn't finish the project and promised a refund. He said he'd mail it. I asked him to Zelle it. That was weeks ago. No check in the mail, no Zelle. I literally feel robbed. read more
