I went with exit signs telling me that this Holiday gas station was next. I went with it. This Holiday gas station is off I-94. It was straightforward pulling into the station and finding an available gas pump. The fuel cap was on the passenger side. I inserted my Canadian credit card at the pump. Holiday gas stations are kind to Canadians. I didn't need to enter my ZIP code. Yay! I fuelled. It came out to $28.28. I liked it. Done! If you are a Cub Foods rewards member, you can enter your phone number associated with it to earn points at any Holiday gas station. I oddly haven't shopped at Cub. I should at least get the rewards card. I've been to Holiday a few times now. What was charming about stopping here was pumping gas to Joy to the World by Three Dog Night. It was cheerful and uplifting. It felt like I was at church, but on a Tuesday afternoon. This gas station was clean. I had a great experience. The restrooms here were spacious, clean, well-stocked & offered user friendly, environmentally friendly & more sanitary options - like both a no-touch paper towel dispenser and a no touch air dryer, hands free door opener & I truly appreciated the switch to flip for restroom service- no need to track down staff. Side note, they were readily available tho. There's a car wash on site, large selection of food/drinks/auto care & clearance rack for thifty souls. The lot was easy to access & had ample parking.

I spoke to my boss at work and he recommended Mike's Southside. It was close to work so I decided to run it over there hoping for just an oil change and new brake pads. I knew something else was probably wrong with my car because for well over year my Nissan Murano was being extremely loud and I had been asking the place I used to bring it( I won't name them specifically but they are a "big" lot in Moorhead ;)) what was wrong, they would just tell me that Nissans are just loud cars and my car was fine. It turns out that not only did I need an oil change and brake pads and new rotors, but my car was not safe to drive-the wheel bearings and hubs all needed to be replaced and were basically about to fall off- and that was what was making my car extremely loud. Mike saw that I was panicking about what the cost would be as my finances are super tight at the moment. He went out of his way to call around for the best possible prices on parts, he got me in that same day (I dropped my car off while I was on a break at work and picked it up during a later break that same day), and he gave me a deal on everything and he made sure I could afford it. It was still a lot more money than I was expecting to spend at the beginning of the day, but anywhere else it would have been much, much more expensive. I know absolutely nothing about cars, but a friend of mine who does know a lot looked up prices of all the parts that they replaced and considering what labor should have been and how quickly they did everything, my friend told me the price was unbelievably fair. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I know I am easy to take advantage of when it comes to work needing to be done on my car. I really felt that Mike and his team had my best interest at heart. I feel like my own dad was taking care of my car that day. My car is now quiet and drives like brand new. This place has won my loyalty and I will be going there from now on! But finally everything is all fixed and I get my car back. Within 15 miles the car is overheated and I pull over to let it cool down. Brought the car back to the shop immediately. They told me they checked the coolant, even had a report on how good it was looking. There was no coolant in my car. This shop is terrible. I spent $5,000 fixing my car with them and paid and extra $300 with another shop to fix the things they screwed up. Also they said they would call me this week to explain the situation to me and I still haven't hear from them. Don't trust them, go somewhere else... seriously
