The horses get all day turnout and the ring to ride in is large and well taken care of. There also was never any flooding no matter how much it rained in the summer. The other boarders are great and I loved our little barn family. It was a small drama free facility that I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a well priced barn for their giant fur baby!

They must have had a bad fire last summer because when I returned I noticed plenty of scorching and plenty of new growth. There are a few ways to get here. If you need directions to the tram chances you probably shouldn't be out here. People use this road for riding motocross, ATV, riding horses. On certain nights the police will be down to observe and some times they break up parties. Which leads to piles of bottles and cans. Off road conditions range from dry, dusty to muddy in some parts. A great time for simple affordable fun. Sand can be really soft and ATV or 4x4 truck or SUV is mandatory or you will get stuck in about 3 main areas. Trails run all the way to 75. While out you may see cows, deer, wild hogs, coyote, bobcats, and turkey. I've noticed more people seem to care about cleaning up the clutter as it's far more easier to clean your own cans. Bottles should not be left out there since many people are barefoot and tires are not inexpensive. If the owners of this land seen the amount of trash left by the lazy idiots I would not feel so bad if they fenced it to keep the trespassers out. Remember how bad luck prairie got closed? It can happen again here.

One thing I really appreciated was that they allowed me to ride the same horse I had during my previous visit, named Legacy. Legacy is such a beautiful and calm horse, and it made the experience even more special being reunited with him again. Our guide Giana was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire ride feel comfortable and fun. She checked in on everyone throughout the ride, made sure we were confident handling the horses, and shared helpful tips along the way. You could tell she really cares about both the riders and the horses. The trail itself was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect way to enjoy the day outdoors. Between the great staff, well-trained horses, and excellent guidance from Giana, it turned into a truly memorable experience for both of us. We were able to be involved with watching them put the tack/ saddle and saddlebags on our horses. Need a bottle of water or keep your cell phone close? You got it right with you in the saddle bags. We then were able to get up on the horses and were given a corral & agility area to ride so we could get comfortable with our horses. Once we were comfortable then we hit the beautiful and awesome trail. This place has such sweet horses that are awesome with children as well as adults. Mickaylaa took many awesome pics on the trail. The staff was absolutely darling with us, they taught us how to brush the horses before riding, how to clean their hooves and place the saddle ourselves. I really like this because they got us involved in every aspect of the horses, not just the riding. They then had us practice before the trail so we got used to our horses and their personalities and finally we went on an hour and a half trail ride which was absolutely beautiful and serene. At the end of the ride, they were kind enough to take some beautiful pictures of us. I highly recommend this business, the staff truly cares about their animals and their customers having a great experience.

It was one of the best family experiences we've had, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Starting with the location, the resort is conveniently situated right off I-75 and is impossible to miss. The property is huge and offers plenty of parking. My only minor complaint is that there is very little shade in the parking lot. Check-in was quick and easy. Kirsten at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She answered all of our questions and made the arrival process seamless. Upon check-in, every guest receives a pair of wolf ears, which is a fun touch and makes everyone feel like part of the "pack." Our toddler was celebrating a birthday a few days later, so we purchased the birthday package, which was under $40 and absolutely worth it. It included two large balloon displays, a birthday poster, a special birthday wolf plush, birthday wolf ears, and a bag filled with toys and treats. One of the coolest perks was the included birthday cup, which could be filled at the candy bar in the gift shop. Our toddler loved leaving with a cup full of gummy bears! The resort's app is also very helpful. It provides a schedule of all the activities happening throughout the day. There are so many kid-friendly events offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The lobby itself is incredibly interactive and comes alive at night with story time, dance parties, and other entertainment. It's truly something you have to experience in person. The resort also has dining options on-site, including a full-service restaurant and smaller food spots such as Dunkin'. Of course, the biggest attractions are the Adventure Park and water park. The Adventure Park includes a ropes course, arcade, mini golf, bowling, and more. During our short stay, we spent our time in the arcade and water park. The arcade was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. Everything is loaded onto a prepaid card, making it easy to add money, track credits, and store tickets for prize redemption. The water park was the true standout. It is massive and has something for every age group. There are multiple play areas for younger children, exciting slides for older kids and adults, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant tipping bucket that drenches everyone below. And that's just the indoor water park. Outside, there is another large pool with a beach-style entry that gradually gets deeper. There are lounge chairs positioned right in the water, which made for a very relaxing experience. The outdoor area also includes a hot tub, bar, and convenient restroom facilities. One feature I especially appreciated was the wide variety of complimentary life jackets available for children of different ages and sizes. Being able to use them throughout the park was such a great benefit for families. Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the staff and activities to the water park and family-friendly atmosphere, Great Wolf Lodge delivered an incredible experience. We are already planning our next trip back!

That was primarily why we were there. And we all enjoyed every minute. Outside of the water park we spent a lot of time in the Arcade. It was a lot of fun. A lot of tickets won and they walked away with some great prizes. Over all our stay was good. Room was nice and spacious. And comfortable. The activities on the lobby for the kids were great. Especially the story time. Watching our 2 year old grandson enjoy that was priceless.

This place used to have crazy fun stuff like this waterfall in the pool for example. It felt luxurious and felt fun to be at even for all ages. But now every single aspect that was fun about the park has been stripped away. For example; the lazy river used to be fast and fun with buckets of water dropping on your head and water spraying and pouring above you with fun stuff to do with people everywhere, but now the river is fully empty and not one bucket or water pipes that leak water onto you are there. When I say zero I mean ZERO! Instead you've got this barren wasteland and husk of what it used to be. (Not to mention but the river is a bit TOO lazy. You barely move forward!) don't even get me started on the rebranding! There used to be this cool turtle guy who was the mascot and things were actually THEMED after him with like lily pads and turtle themed attractions; but now it's this stupid alligator guy who does not look welcoming or full of fun at all. Oh my god and the fountain sprinklers they used to have just don't even work. Like they're there but they just don't turn on at all and it used to be a big attraction there but now it's just dead. I can genuinely name 100 more things that were so much better then whatever lackluster amalgamation they have going on there. This park used to be fun and exciting, but everything that defined the park is gone. If you went there before it all went down the drain you'd know. It's really hard to explain how great this park used to be to someone who's only gone within the past year but it was truly magical. We need to get this park back to its former glory. But until this park gets its s*** together, don't go.
