Our airboat captain was a creole guy with a great personality and very accommodating. He was very laid back and we were allowed to take our own cooler and drinks (including alcoholic drinks). It was a little pricy but still worth it. I want to go back and hope to see some huge gators sunning, but even if you're here during the summer it's still worth it. They also have a little "zoo" area that you can walk through and see their alligators, and they have one in the office that you can hold.

My wife and I each found a rare pathological shark tooth! Chris, the owner, was an amazing guide and made sure that everyone was on good material. He gives a very informative talk before the fossil hunt, demonstrates how to use the equipment once you reach the river, constantly checks to see how you are doing and answer questions, then helps everyone identify their fossils after the hunt. They provided us all the resources we needed to succeed. Honesty, I do not feel as if they held back at all--they gave us ALL their go-to pointers and even personal finding spots. The two locations they gave us is where we ventured off to with our new tools and, well...We left that beach with handfuls of shark teeth. I highly recommend coming to Shark Frenzy!
