I was their as a guest of an elderly couple and was aggressively asked to leave because they were an only members club due to covid guidelines to assemble in small groups. I was a past member for 14 years in good standing and was treated so unprofessionally. The commodore should have asked to speak to me privately with the club manager present. Instead he publicly humiliated in front of several members. My hosts were unaware of this new members only rule and we were all shocked to see how rudely I was handled by their commodore . I left their in tears and wrote the clubs board a letter with what occurred and asked for an apology which I never received. Disappointed to see how cold the club has become. Good luck getting new members with this attitude towards people.

After completing their training, The Lily Pad assists with transition for employment with local businesses. All that said, the building is as sweet as the mission! It's bright and airy inside with 5 tables inside and several on the patio, which I can't wait to try out once it warms up. Reservations are required. Everyone I encountered from the workers to the volunteers handling the training were so sweet! Yes it may take a minute to place your order at the register but to see the love and encouragement given as the volunteers train is worth every minute you stand in line. I ordered the chick-a-Brie Bryan sandwich with a side salad as my side of choice (got the comeback dressing). My sandwich was delicious! The panini was toasted just right. The salad was good but I will try a different dressing next time. Wasn't a fan of the comeback at all. Overall, this is a wonderful opportunity to provide job skills to those that may not have the chance, all while providing great food!
