This is the best cocktail bar I have ever been to. Their campfire Old Fashioned is phenomenal and the Guion Gin is very pleasant. The service is truly remarkable as well. The only thing you need to make sure you do is call ahead to make a reservation- even a couple of days ahead. They're only open 18 hours a week and everyone's dying to get in. If you haven't made a reservation- get there early or bring your drink to the nice picnic tables outside. This place is worth it! read more

Stopped here for after meal cocktails and I'm so glad we did! Cozy atmosphere and WONDERFUL drinks. The size of the space might seem small at first but it's actually just right - this is a great place to come, have a few drinks and visit with friends. I highly recommend the two "living room" chairs and table in the corner. Husband recommends the Old Figgy Fashioned and my French 75 was one of the best I've had outside of New Orleans. My first impression soon after walking in was that this place was too small. Over the course of the evening my mind changed from too small to love for the quaint and intimate atmosphere. You can't help but talk to the people seated next to you. The owner / bar tender is a true mixologist and my martini could not have been shaken any better. I wanted Belvedere vodka for my martini but they didn't have any--no worries they ran to the liquor store next door and bought some. 5 stars for customer service! The food was wonderful. I can't say enough about the pimento cheese and salmon dip! Don't miss either of them. I will definitely be back! read more

The Briar Patch is an absolute gem! I've traveled extensively and have experienced some of the best cocktail bars Miami, NYC, Chicago, and other big cities has to offer. This place definitely give those bars a run for their money. Cozy and friendly vibe with a creative cocktail and food menu. Prohibition style bar with a southern charm. Drinks: The on point is exactly that...on point! Their bourbon base cocktails are one of a kind. Dirty Martini with a lemon twist was exceptional. Food: The cheese & charcuterie board, nachos w/ pork rinds, and chicken salad was amazing! Looking forward to sampling the rest of their menu. I'm from Miami and the staff here has made me experience the southern hospitality Mississippi is well known for. Great happy hour specials and French quarter Saturdays with live music is definitely worth the trip to this amazing place. Shout out to JC, Linz, Brian, and the rest of the team! You guys rock! We went on a whim tonight and it was great! We sat outside and the weather and setting was perfect! The nachos were really good and keto friendly which is hard to find at restaurants. Our waitress was super sweet and when I wasn't a fan of the first drink I ordered she got me another and finally a third that I liked without me saying a thing about not liking them. She just noticed I wasn't drinking it and said she'd get me another that I liked. It was excellent service, food and atmosphere! We will define be coming back! read more

What a darling spot! My mom and I stopped here at the end of a long day of traveling, plopped down on a big comfy couch, and enjoyed a variety of tapas, including the cheese platter, the salmon spread, and the hummus. My mom had the margarita and said they were very generous with the tequila. The service was fantastic -- super attentive to our needs. If you're looking for an intimate place to have drinks and a fabulous charcuterie plate then this is your place! It's a nod to a man's smoking room with dark green walls and pictures of hunting dogs. It can be difficult to find a seat because of the size of the room, but with delicious bites and a large tv, it's worth the wait! They have a daily original drink specials and their cocktail menu is amazing. If you're a Bloody Mary fan, I highly recommend it!
