We drove 7 hours to meet with the owners after seeing their furniture posting on Craigslist. We ended up ordering a custom couch and two custom chairs. The owner said he would include two (2) custom pillows shown with the chairs on the showroom floor (but didn't note the pillows on the sales receipt). He originally gave a two-week turnaround for the order, and said, "worst case scenario, would be 4 weeks out". We paid half up front, including delivery fees. At 4 weeks we started contacting the business asking when the furniture would be delivered. Multiple calls, texts and emails were not responded to. Around the 5-week mark, we received a text that our order would be ready to be delivered the following weekend. 6 weeks now, and no communication on the delivery. Still at 8 weeks with no response from the owner, we left the owner a voicemail, text and email that we would personally pick up the furniture and cancel his delivery service. He finally confirmed our pick up change. We drove (from out of state) to his shop, and he forgot the pillows. He apologized, and said he would have them made and delivered in about 2-3 weeks. It has been over 3 months with several emails, calls and texts and still no response, and no delivery of the pillows. Needless to say, the customer service side of things was a very poor experience. The product is good, but the hassle to get it wasn't worth the effort. Our suggestions to the owners are to provide realistic time frames and when those time frames don't work, be pro-active and respectful of the situation and notify your customer. Also, provide timely responses to your customer's questions / concerns / feedback. We rate a "5" on the product and a "1" on customer service. read more

Tony and Maria are owners and operators of their upholstery business. Don't be fooled they can do any project big or small that you give them. I have had them reupholster and design many pieces of furniture for me. Some were done just by showing them a photo of what I wanted. I have found that there is nothing they can't do. Their work is outstanding and if you have anything you have been holding off to reupholster thinking it would cost more than to buy something new....your wrong. Their prices are unbelievable and I guarantee you will be happy with the end results. They always do their best to meet their customers dead line but sometimes a piece may take longer than anticipated. Please give them some slack because maybe it will be your piece that they are working to create a masterpiece. They are very trustworthy, clean and pet free environment. You will not be disappointed. We couldn't be more pleased with our chairs from M & M Creative Upholstery! We started our "journey" by reaching out to a few businesses. I chose M & M because Tony assured me I would love them (and I do!) Tony has been fabulous from start to finish. I originally dropped off 4 Danish dining room chairs that were covered 50 years ago by my mother in law; who wove the fabric herself. Initially, my husband was reluctant to have the much needed project done, but when we got them back, he was so delighted that he gave Tony 4 more of our chairs. All the chairs are now not only beautiful, but comfortable too! I recently had a job completed by Tony. Admittedly, it was not an overly complex task for a professional. I contacted Tony and worked out the details of cutting down the motocross seat on my supermoto race bike. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and was very surprised when he sent me a photo on Thursday saying I could pick it up on Friday. Friday morning, seat was ready and it looked great. I had never used M and M before but their prices seemed reasonable, they were close to the house, and judging by the photos on their website which showed completed work far more difficult than the seat, I took a chance. When I finally settled on a fabric, the turn-around time was surprisingly fast! After buying a great, vintage midcentury couch, I was disappointed to see a giant tear underneath which was held together with tape. I'd missed this at the store. Took in a motorcycle seat to be recovered and the quality of work is outstanding, however it's the customer service that really made a difference. Got the seat home, looked great, however it wasn't the right "style" for the dirt bike for which it was for, called them and asked them if they'd mind doing it differently, they went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and it's perfect now, again the quality of work is great the customer service will keep me coming back again and again and will definitely be referring other riders of dirt bikes if they want their seats re-done, this is the place to go! read more

My grandfather was an upholstery and I was leery at finding someone to do work on some antique pieces I own. Tony & Maria first reupholstered a 7 foot victorian reproduction couch for me. It was stunning! Next, I trusted them with 2 settee's and 3 chairs. 4 of these pieces have been in my husbands family for over 100 years. So needless to say, there was a lot of trust. These folks did a great job. I tore a hole in my car seat and M&M made it better than before. They matched the color perfectly with a stronger material and it looks like it came out of the factory straight stitches and clean lines. There was a minor misunderstanding about scheduling but once that was cleared up they delivered above and beyond expectations. I'll be back to get my passenger seat redone. Oh my goodness, I couldn't be happier with the job by M&M Creative. I should have reupholstered these pieces years ago! There was a waiting list, but well worth the wait, once it was my turn my two pieces were done within 2 weeks. When Tony found out that my husband was going out of town with our truck on the day the pieces were to be ready for pick up, they worked overtime to get them done early so I would receive them right away and not have to wait two weeks for hubby to get back. I took a chair to their shop so they could see what they were in for. Tony gave me a quote, which was very fair. We love our new(old) couch!! I spoke with Tony first back in February to get an estimate on recovering our couch. I price checked with other upholstery shops and found that he was very fairly priced. I kind of let it rest awhile but Tony checked in with me every so often which helped get this project off the back burner and into his shop :-) When he picked up the couch he said it would be done in 3 to 4 weeks and surprised us when he texted me a week later saying it was done! We highly recommend M & M Creative Upholstery. We have a set of 8 nice dining room chairs that aren't very old but the cushions (a faux leather type material) were so cracked and crumbling that we couldn't sit on them. I've been looking for an upholsterer for at least a year. I almost hired a couple but they were very flaky and non-responsive so I kept looking. I finally found Tony at M&M Creative Upholstery and thank God I did. He was very responsive, quoted a fair price and quoted a good turnaround time.
