Not only was everyone friendly but there were a variety of vendors and a great selection of produce, vegetables, baked goods, and more. The setup was great, very organized and clean. Well laid out. We left with fresh sourdough, jalapeño cheddar bread, lemon cake, chicken salad, seafood salad, cookies, micro greens, parsley, and fresh strawberries that taste so sweet! This is an older store but they do offer a lot of things the newer places don't have. They have a dedicated butcher and a dedicated seafood counter. Check out was busy so I said I would go to customer service. Went to talk to the guy that was at the counter, after I waited for him to stop chit chatting. I explained what had happened he apologized and I showed him my phone. He just stared at it and said, I'm sorry??!! I told him to forget it and I just won't come back, he said I'm sorry. I said on my way out,"if you were sorry you would have done something"! I truly believe he really didn't know what to do? I hope to goodness he wasn't the manager!!! I've been in management for 30 years and I have never had such an incompetent service person? I frequent this piggly wiggly at least 3-4 times a month and never leave there without spending over $100, I know that's not much but this day and age everyone is trying to be frugal.
