ECU or ECM (computer problems) that Gearhead didn't have the experience or equipment to fix. 3 ECU's later and ME paying for (labor and parts) for something that didn't work. Final straw on last ECU....told me he would have to replace injectors and more. I told him NO! Paid $2000.00 to get my NON RUNNING boat back!!! Found New guy to look at it and he told me the ECU that Gearhead installed and charged me for was not even the right ECU for my boat!! See my problem here? The injectors were not the problem, so he was just guessing again!! I will never take anything to this guy or EVER tell anyone else to go to him!! You should find someone else to work on your boat and/or jet ski!!!

Then when they finished fixing it, the day they told me it would be another week, they gave me 2 days to pick it up or be charged $75/day. The price was almost double the estimate, 3 months, NO RETURN PHONE CALLS and the had to disconnect parts to fix my problem. They told me I had recalls, not true and had an excuse at every turn. I took my 2018 Chevy Silverado there to get a transmission fluid service done because I had the "Chevy Shakes", and I wanted to see if that would help. There were codes on my code-reader that didn't make any sense, along with the "Random Misfires" code. I was fully expecting the verdict would wind up being that I'd need a new 6L80 transmission (or engine problems). But Steve's integrity came out right away. Steve said we should not do a fluid change until we first do diagnostics and see the whole picture. He's a talker... and very dogmatic, so be patient and listen to him... he definitely has tons of experience in this. He explained to me that many Chevy/GMC 5.3L V-8 engines have Active Fuel Management (AFM), and that the AFM programming in the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the over-complicated programming in the Transmission ECM (TECM) can cause the Torque Converter to lock & unlock too much; there's too much "noise". The shifting from V-8 to 4-cylinder (and back), changing speeds, braking, all cause constant Torque Converter "chatter", and I could definitely feel it. It was shakin' & shuddering! So they first ran diagnostics, and very importantly, live diagnostics while driving it so they could see the converter chattering, engine misfires, live data, etc. He told me there's likely "nothing wrong with your transmission", but we need to quiet the noise. He proposed an AFM Delete. Not the cheap little thing you get on Amazon, mind you (those don't work well), he was able to re-flash the ECM & TECM to remove the AFM programming, improve the transmission function, and also we went with new plugs, coils, and wires; BAM! No more shimmy, shimmy, cocoa-pop! NO codes on the OBD-II Scanner/Code reader! Now I have one smooth running pick'em up truck with an engine that's a full-time V-8, not dropping cylinders due to AFM. And... not sure why, but over the 2 weeks since we got this great resolution, it's getting better fuel mileage too! What I thought was going to be a very expensive problem, Transmission Hero got me out the door for a fraction of the expected costs. Thanks Steve.

On Friday, August 16th, 2024, I visited the repair shop to inspect my motorcycle after service,…read morepaid the bill, and verified that there were no cosmetic issues of any kind. Shortly after, Walter from All Out Custom Transport arrived to transport the bike. Unfortunately, he attempted to load the motorcycle onto a damaged trailer without a tailgate ramp, resulting in the bike falling against his thigh. Upon the motorcycle's arrival at my home, I noticed a large gash on the tank that was not present during my inspection just 20 minutes earlier. When I inquired about the damage, Walter denied any issues during loading. However, the shop owner later confirmed, via security footage, that Walter had dropped the bike and inspected the damage immediately after. Walter continued to deny responsibility until confronted with the video, at which point he claimed the damage might have been caused by a pocket knife--but then claimed that the knife was covered by three layers of clothing. (He was wearing t shirt and shorts, its August in Florida) As someone with 30 years' experience working on classic cars, paint/body work, etc., it is clear that the damage was caused by metal-to-metal contact, from the pocket knife. When I asked for insurance information, Walter revealed that his company does not carry liability insurance, contradicting his earlier claims of being fully insured. I sought quotes from licensed body shops, averaging around $500 for the repair, but Walter insisted on using an unlicensed contact of his to do it cheaper. I explained that I would only have the repair done by a licensed, insured, and reputable shop, but Walter refused to cover the full cost, and then began disputing the video evidence. This incident has resulted in additional expenses for me, including the costs of draining the gas, removing the tank, painting, and re-installing the tank to restore the motorcycle to its original condition. Walter and All Out Custom Transport have demonstrated a lack of professionalism, as well as an apparent absence of proper insurance and licensing to operate in Florida. I cannot recommend trusting this company with your motorcycle or any other valuable property.
