The bank staff knew their customers by name, they talked as friends, they could even bring in their pets, which were also known by name and given treats. The bank manager handled the setup of my account personally and I left feeling as though I was seen as a person, not an account. I am getting all the services I would get at one of the major national banks, including online bill payment and debit/credit card, and I have the satisfaction of dealing with a local community bank that did not accept TARP money. I would encourage anyone to move their money from their national bank accounts to this community based (and Community FOCUSED) bank.

When I asked for the one-page summary, I was offered a detailed internal accounting for my account which made little sense to me. I returned it to the teller, who said I threw it at him, which was false. This teller needs to be reevaluated to continue in customer service.
