Was all explained kindly to me. When I got in, Dr Ziemann spent a lot of time with me to understand what is going on. She's down to earth, compassionate. The office has online access for test results, appointments, and a way to. contact my Dr. I had a question about my results and Dr Ziemann was quick to respond. The front office and nurses all very nice and helpful and kind. They can do own blood tests there so no need to go to 3rd party blood test company.

Couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of care (thoroughness, knowledge, advice and outstanding communication / people skills - huge differentiator over my prior doctor). The rest of the onsite team I interacted with was terrific too - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient - all around great experience. Had a follow-up appt today via zoom. Again - great experience. Your model works great for me as I travel quite a bit and being able to get care in different locations in person, via app or video call is super important to me. Everyone knows who you are after only a couple of visits. All appointments are followed up by a thorough report on their site. I had an after hours issue that I reported by phone. The response was almost immediate. I received an email detailing what I should do if my pharmacy was closed overnight. The prescription was ready within a couple hours. I suffered from chronic sinus infections that were just crazy. I went to Dr. Miller expecting the usual script and and a co-pay but what a pleasant surprise I got. He was so thorough and detail oriented that he asked questions that seemed out of sync with the routine I had experienced elsewhere. He asked about my lifestyle, my pillows, my diet, well you get it....and he LISTENED. I actually now understand why doctor's corporations are called SC for "service corporations". He was providing his Medical Services. He wasn't doing me a favor by seeing me. I was giving him an opportunity to practice medicine. Lightbulb, aaahhhhh moment. Did I mention he went to Harvard Medical School. Matters not unless they teach you human compassion there. Not only did he cure that malady, he cured me of pretty much everything and during the course of a general conversation, he discovered a something that several other doctors had dismissed or negelected. Under his care and direction, I have been treated as a person, not a number and put on a path to wellness. He had given me guidance and referals that have changed my life. When I had a rough patch health wise, he was my go to guy and Dr. Miller got me through a series of unrelated, untimely and unfortunate health issues. We've since kind of broken up because he made me all better, so much so that I don't really need to see him much anymore. Not that I mind. But you know what I mean. I have refered countless people to him and each and every one raves. He moved from the city to Northbrook which is a hike, but his demeanor, candor and knowledge are worth every second on the Edens. He is kind, gentle, caring and concerned. Dr. Miller is the first physician I have encountered that practices the art of healing. How refreshing.On their website it says under his philosphy "Dr. Miller believes in a strong patient-doctor relationship and working with patients to optimize their health care" Understatement of the year. And lets not forget the support staff, Janie, his nurse. Can you say loveable and sweet. And efficient and kind. And accommodating and warm. Yep, worth every second on the Edens and then some!

AND he gave me an electronic prescription I sent to the pharmacy without ever picking up the phone. Anyway, technology aside, an excellent PCP.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Kirley (and her office associates.) Its been a long time since I was so impressed by a physician. I'd kind of given up on medicine being anything but a brief exchange of fees for services.To give you an idea of how diligent she is when I told her I was going to transfer the care of my adult son (who has multiple disabilities) to her she asked to have his chart so she could take it home to read thoroughly. Dr. Kirley returns phone calls and emails promptly and has even helped with insurance issues, convincing specialists to see me despite their distaste with my insurance plan. I strongly suggest that if you are looking for a primary care doc check out Dr. K. or any of her associates at this location. BTW: they are family practice specialists not internists if that matters to you.

When I had a medical scare several years ago, he didn't take it lighly. He went through all of the correct protocol to ensure I was taken care of appropriately. When I call with questions Dr. Ferber always personally calls me back. He is a fantastic doctor and I'm lucky to have found him.
