The owner promised top soil, natural topsoil as he described it. It turned out to be sand and clay removed from prior pool work (not organic containing soil for growing grass). The biggest problem was with the sharp broken glass, sharp metal straps and marble that littered the topsoil. We have removed several 5 gallon pails of the hazardous stuff from the top layer. Not very safe for kids to play on. The contractor's response was that natural topsoil has "treasures". I would not call a crushed oil filter can a treasure. He saved $1,500 for quality top soil at my expense. I am not happy and would not recommend him to anyone dealing with top soil and finish work.
