I can buy a 750ml bottle of Kirkland American Made 5 times filtered Vodka for $12. I cannot buy a 350ml bottle of Vodka here in Idaho for under $18. Hello Costco!

My only little pet peeve is when I ask where something is and get an "I think it's over there..." Costco is HUGE and can get super busy, so being sent in the wrong direction can turn into quite the adventure! I'd much rather someone double-check if they aren't sure. What really stood out during my last visit was how kind and accommodating the staff was when I lost my keys. My husband ended up having to bring me my spare, and I didn't get the call that my keys had been found until about 7:30 the next morning--but I was SO relieved they were found! Definitely saved me the hassle and expense of ordering another spare. This Costco is consistently clean, nicely stocked, and has a great team. Definitely my go-to location!

I had to rescan everything in my cart. Rude service horrible staff and just the worst. We don't pay membership fees to be treated like this. The disrespect is so serious and good luck if you wanted one item from the food court it's a 30 mins wait minimum and that's with calling ahead for our pizza last time as well. When I asked for management information, I was laughed at and told I could "go to the owner," as if that was somehow acceptable customer service. The entire interaction felt dismissive, hostile, and unprofessional. I'm simply posting this so other people are aware of how situations like this may be handled there.

One of my friends came into the store to return a few cans of unopened cat food and when he was…read moretold that "they had never returned anything in the history of Logans" he complained in a raised voice. There was no physical reaction from him whatsoever. The lady who waited on him decided to throw him out of the store. She then called the police on him who showed up at his house 30 minutes later to inform him that he was no longer allowed in the store. When he told the police officer that he banked there he was informed that he would need to go to Ontario to do that as well. My friend is a Vietnam Veteran. He was thrown out of Logans on Veteran's Day for making a simple comment when he couldn't return cat food. I'm so glad that I don't shop at Logans. I will let everyone I know how they treat Veterans on their day of the year, to do the same. Rather unpatriotic. Shame on anyone involved in this issue.

It's located in the heart of the Farmway Village, a Caldwell Housing Authority Unit that my former Mother-In-Law lives in and I frequent on the weekends. This place has all sort of things for the over 800 people that live in this area. Some of the things they sell are can foods, milk, junk food, meat, and other groceries. Many of the items are Costo bought and resold, again many things at or near the expiration date yet it's very convenient for the people that live here. Many of the people that live here are lower income and unable to get to town to get to the store and this place is a good alternative. Oftentimes, they will have a sell outside of homemade tamales or enchiladas. The owners of this place are friendly. In summary, it doesn't compare to any convenient store of modern times, but for the location and their customer base-- it's A-OK.

We moved from another state into Star about a year ago. There were no WinCos where we previously…read morelived. In Star, there is a Ridley's and an Albertsons. Albertsons is more convenient. Eventually, one of our new friends mentioned WinCo. So, we started going there. As in the other reviews, the first thing I found out was that it's either cash or debit card, no credit. Not a problem as I carry my debit card in my wallet, and have no added it to my Apple Wallet. Also, even if you go through the full checkout line, you have to bag your own groceries. This is no problem at all for us because, for the most part, we go through self-checkout lines whenever we can. Prices are the best compared to Albertsons (we don't grocery shop at Wal-Mart or Target). We do shop at Costco for some bulk items and toiletries, but the nice thing about WinCo is that you don't have to buy in bulk. WinCo does seem to have good produce, and I love the selection of whole coffee beans, since I do like to grind my own. I also buy bulk instant Gluten free oats to make oatmeal. We try to buy as many of our groceries as we can at WinCo, but since it's a 15-20 minute drive from Star, if we're feeling lazy, we just go to Albertsons. We retired so we have the time. I'm happy to have this nice WinCo so close to home.

The prices are very reasonable, even though I've noticed inflation in recent months... especially since I frequent it almost every other day! Sometimes their prices are lower than Costco, sometimes they're higher... I love how there's so much variety in their bulk bins and how it's always kept so clean! The self serving bag-it-yourself brings me back to my childhood days of bagging everything. Very nostalgic. My daughter loves bagging groceries for me, so win right there when I'm not in the mood for bag. I never tried it, but my kids told me they really like the hot foods and the cheap prices. This is now my go-to grocery store.
