Photos were fine - the sun was still too bright and half the family was squinting- seems like that would be obvious to a beach photographer. And who wants sunglasses in their portraits? Lost two stars for follow up. Photos posted on the 15th and already have to pay more ($10 for 10 more days) to view - so you have 10 days to see your album! to see your photos and order prints or digitals. Hard for one person, much less the 5 or 7 or 15 you might have in your group. Nowhere in an email does it say when the online album expires, you have to log in to the site to see it. Digital storage space is cheap and limitless today, there is no reason for this other than squeezing customers for every cent. The options for digitals were 'one' or 'all', with no option in between. The website is terrible for ordering - I placed photos in my cart multiple times just to return and find nothing there, or only one of several photos still in the cart. Also it seems like they just posted every photo rather than sorting them. There were photos in our album with peoples eyes closed, looking away, not smiling, etc. That makes it take even longer to go through the photos.

He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we felt fully prepared. The day before our photos, our photographer, Simon, reached out and was very communicative. Since rain was expected on the day of our session, he made sure we had a backup plan in place. Our original session was scheduled for Saturday, but due to the weather, we rescheduled for Sunday. Simon also texted to let us know what he would be wearing so we could easily find him on the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. He and his partner were absolutely amazing. They made sure we were comfortable with all of the poses and asked if there were any specific shots we wanted to capture. We received our photos incredibly quickly, and Simon made sure we were completely satisfied with the final images. The issue was our photos were a gift for my parents (78 & 80yrs) for their 50th wedding anniversary. At booking I was assured that our need for easier terrain, would be easily accommodated. Being on the beach for us was not required. Our photographer assigned to us didn't have this information beforehand. I had to tell him the night before. He then took us to an area he didn't realize was under construction. My elderly parents had to walk over a large sand "dune", which was difficult and a little scary for my mom. Thankfully she made it without incident, but this is the memory that sticks out for her. Better communication within the company and knowledge of a variety of locations could have made this a better experience for my parents.
