Family beach photo session (6 adults) this past July was a huge disappointment. Sharon posed us like a wedding party line up, very few candids. She would only snap the camera one time for each picture and say I got it . After a quick review on her camera she said would say OK, I know what I'm doing and 'this is not my first rodeo." We weren't told where to look, and when we made suggestions we just got more of the signal to bunch up together. Almost all the photos looked similar and many backgrounds were ugly (few with the beautiful ocean and beach) . One edited photo was flipped in the photoshop and all the beach and ocean background were reversed. Some edited colorations were off (too washed out it too vivid.) --another had the sign edited out but not the pole behind one person's head! You have to purchase the photos she takes and edits. I requested to purchase the unedited originals and she said she doesn't keep them. No free digital download, which was not mentioned when we first spoke on the phone, nor in the contract. The prices for even a digital download is $4 each and the link is only good for 7 days--- for something I PAID FOR IN ADDITION to paying $300+ for the session and (edited) gallery in the first place. I've had professional photography done for our family a few times with no charge for a thumb drive of the unedited originals. We ended up spending WAY too much money for what we experienced, and the pictures were really uninspired. Stay out of business and Off The Beach!!

Sharon was very easy to schedule and coordinate with on the day of, and extremely flexible as the plan shifted slightly, which was nice. It was clear that she had tons of experience with the type of shoot we wanted to do, and her expertise absolutely led to some magnificent photos. Working with her afterwards to get our pictures was extremely easy and we were blown away with the quality of the photos. We were thrilled to have Sharon make our special day even better than we thought it could be, and we can't imagine you having a better experience with a beach photographer in Sunset Beach area. Seriously, if you don't call Sharon for your special event... you've only got yourself to blame.

The photographer was nice, on time, and guided us to get some cute poses. Photos were fine - the sun was still too bright and half the family was squinting- seems like that would be obvious to a beach photographer. And who wants sunglasses in their portraits? Lost two stars for follow up. Photos posted on the 15th and already have to pay more ($10 for 10 more days) to view - so you have 10 days to see your album! to see your photos and order prints or digitals. Hard for one person, much less the 5 or 7 or 15 you might have in your group. Nowhere in an email does it say when the online album expires, you have to log in to the site to see it. Digital storage space is cheap and limitless today, there is no reason for this other than squeezing customers for every cent. The options for digitals were 'one' or 'all', with no option in between. The website is terrible for ordering - I placed photos in my cart multiple times just to return and find nothing there, or only one of several photos still in the cart. Also it seems like they just posted every photo rather than sorting them. There were photos in our album with peoples eyes closed, looking away, not smiling, etc. That makes it take even longer to go through the photos.
