That being said, Dr. Nick Stepanski is a very intelligent, kind like his father, "green", young provider learning to fill big shoes. I've been a patient of theirs for 30 years. Times have changed, communication is through a portal, which I love because the staff is really good at responding quickly. I absolutely love the staff. They are always pleasant over the phone, stopping in for a nurse visit, and through the portal.

He's thorough when he knows what he's talking about, honest when he doesn't, and doesn't dance around with platitudes. I'm going to guess that's a bit off-putting by people who are used to being coddled, but for me, I really appreciate his approach. I don't want to be pals and talk about the Tigers game for 8 of the 10 minutes he's in the room. I want to not feel sick. Done and done. Getting a same-day appointment isn't too difficult if you've got something legit, and though it may not be with the Doctor himself, his PA is at least as good. I've never once felt like "Okay, go get the doctor" when I've seen her. I also appreciate not being left in the waiting room forever, or being brought back near my appointment, only to be left in the exam room for 45 minutes. When I've asked for a same-day appointment, the longest I've waited was maybe 20 minutes total. With appointments, it's usually about 10 minutes. I'm pretty quick to change doctors when something seems amiss, but I can honestly say that I don't think I've ever been to a practice that's instilled -- and more importantly, earned -- nearly implicit trust.

I have a fairly stressful life, and Dr. Shindler suggested that I give it a go to help relieve stress. Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health. I first chose his office because they were open to discussion regarding vaccinations. Together, we've made a schedule that works for us. We've also been seen by Michelle Hass, PA-C. She also provides great care. Since originally choosing their office primarily for my daughter, I've since started seeing them myself as well. They've been great with scheduling appointments for my daughter and myself back-to-back.

His surgical team synchronizes his orchestral abilities to perform complex neurological surgeries. As a Nurse, and clinical coordinator, I have seen the best, in my region. I honestly didn't know if she'd spend two minutes with me or even do the testing because doctors seem to always want to tell you "you're fine" and send you on your way. I know I am a pretty healthy girl, but I was really interested to see my deficiencies. Not only did Dr.K listen to me, she helped me navigate through my fear of flying, which came up randomly because she actually talks to you and helped me understand more natural and realistic ways of dealing with my health, which is what I was so excited about. He insists that NSAIDs are perfect for pain management and don't have side effects even if patients report otherwise. In addition, he is rude and brusque and ablest. No one should see him.
