I like Steinbach in that it has one of most businesses. It has one Walmart. This cafe is also the only Starbucks in the city. Less is more. Less is perfect. Steinbach has everything that I need. This Starbucks has a drive-thru. All my visits so far have been through the drive-thru. It's efficient and moves well, even with a few vehicles in front of me during one visit. I have oddly not ordered the same drink so far. I normally do. I've had the following beverages: - Iced peach green tea - Cool lime refresher - Summer skies - Iced passion tango unsweetened tea Summer skies was a trenta. The rest were grande in size. I ordered the iced passion tango unsweetened tea without ordering ahead. The young female barista tried scanning the barcode on the app. It wouldn't work. I ended up moving my phone away from the scanner and back. It finally worked, which made us both laugh at how finnicky the scanner was. The rest of my visits have been Starbucks app orders. Take that, weird scanner! My trenta summer skies drink was my birthday treat. It was nice to get a personalized message, all in caps, on my cup, wishing me a great day. It was a nice touch. You can add up to twelve helpings of raspberry boba for the trenta summer skies. I did eight and felt like I was having quite the meal. I'm still working my way up to the maximum and putting a dent in the boba supply... haha I got a head start getting early access to a cool lime refresher. It is by far my favourite refresher. I was so sad when it went away. I'm glad that it's back, likely for a limited time. It's so good. I'm a citrus person and it makes me happy every time I have it. My recent drink order was an iced peach green tea. Like all my drinks from this cafe, they were refreshing, full of flavour, and consistent. Service here is extremely friendly. I've had four different baristas. All of them were kind, cheerful, and competent. Steinbach is fortunate to have such an amazing crew. I hope to squeeze in one last visit before I head home. This location was a couple of blocks away from where I was staying. Nice! I decided to do takeout. I placed my order online. When I lived in Winnipeg, my go-to pizza joints were Papa Georges in my neighbourhood of Osborne Village and Jumbo Pizza. Sadly, both are gone. It was time for me to find a local pizza place. Fun fact: I had never ordered pizza from Santa Lucia until this visit. I tend to get baked spaghetti. It's excellent. There was an online deal to get this bundle, so I did: - Two bottled soft drinks (591 mL) - One 10" three-topping (pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers) pizza - A pound of wings with honey dill sauce I got an estimated time of thirty minutes. It was perfect for me to go shopping for fruit, pick up this dinner order, and then head back to my hotel room to chow down. I had no problem finding this pizza place. I did have a tough time finding a parking spot. I couldn't temporarily park in front to the entrance for a pick-up-and-go approach. There was a golf cart taking up that spot and being loaded with a ton of cold cans of pop. This eatery is a part of Steinback Fly-in Golf Club. This eatery shares the same parking lot with Steinbach Aquatic Centre. It explained why I found a spot closer to this sports centre than Santa Lucia. There's also a park across from both places, which explains the parking situation even more. There was a woman with a newborn in front of the eatery. It was a shaded area for them on such a hot day. Out of all the Santa Lucia restaurants that I have frequented, this one is the nicest. It was so fancy seeing three different types of mints on the table. Note to self: When I'm here again, I will have a dine-in meal. It's gorgeous! Two young folks were so kind when I approached the welcome area. I indicated that I had an online order. Both nodded. The male fetched my food. The female confirmed that I had paid online and that I could grab my two bottled drinks from the fridge. I got my wings and pizza. The former was in a box in a paper bag. The pizza was in its own box. This place has Pepsi products. Sadly, there wasn't any Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Zero, so I went with regular. Because I was carrying so much stuff. I had a difficult time pushing the door to get out. The mom outside was kind to open the door for me. I thanked her profusely. She was friendly and great. I appreciated her help! I got to my vehicle and was happy to put away all my items. The two cold drinks and wings went into my insulated bag. I made sure that my pizza was secured before I drove back to the hotel. I started with the wings. I got a generous number of them. It was a full dozen of breaded, plump wings. They were crispy and delicious. The honey dill sauce was divine! I dipped each wing into it. I'd get the wings again with this sauce. They were excellent! I'm so glad that this meal deal featured a 10" pizza. I had half of it that evening. I heated everything up the following day for breakfast. I loved my pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers pizza. The sauce was so good. The pizza was crispy and chewy where they should be. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful. I can see why this pizza chain has been around longer than I have been on this planet. The pizza was top-notch, featuring quality ingredients that screamed yummy. I was pleased to get two bottles of Pepsi. I had one with my meal. It was cold, although sweeter than I generally would like. I put the other one in my mini fridge and had it the following day. I had a wonderful experience here.
