Despite having a very decent deposit we struggled to get a mortgage through our bank and other lenders due to a small settled default and the fact that I'm self-employed and didn't have the required 3-years accounts or address history. After trying another mortgage advisor - several weeks wasted, same result - we contacted We Know Mortgages with little hope of a positive outcome. Ansar and his team were incredibly helpful and the advice they gave us was precious to say the least. They found us a good deal with a more flexible high street lender - at a much lower interest rate and with no upfront fees! They clearly know their market very well and we can't thank them enough. Their fees are very reasonable too. We'll definitely be using them again when our fixed term expires.
