Eh, $11 lunch buffet with drink makes this good, and this place seems to be super popular with Asians, so I guess maybe it's authentic or something, just not really my cup of tea.
Now, I'm at least as adventurous as the next person, but was entirely unimpressed with the chicken feet and, to my credit, I've enjoyed plain ole boiled chicken feet in the past. Overall, I didn't find the selection to be that great, and the only truly enjoyable items were the mixed veggies and the sweet and sour pork.
The lines are long and the only plates are salad plates, resulting in people piling food onto small plates to avoid having to get back in line for a while, and half of that food falling on the floor on the way back to their table via an illogical buffet restaurant layout. We ended up sitting next to the same soup spill and chow mein skid mark for the entire duration of our meal.
Chicken and corn soup was exceptionally bland. Also, and maybe this is more of a problem for me than for you, but there were no wontons! The heck? Mini spring rolls and mini pancakes can only take you so far.
Upshot: $11 lunch, and you pretty much get what you pay for. read more
