Their entrance made it particularly irresistible - like some sort of survivalist church building or something. The store is VERY tidy - and the merchandise is well organized and clearly marked with very reasonable prices. They have LOADS of clothes - tons of stuff. They even had some great bags/luggage and I must say I was quite tempted by knives and some other things - but - no - despite the fact that I was in the moving truck, I was going to be returning on my motorcycle so resisted temptation to buy a bunch of stuff. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are somewhat smaller than most surplus stores I've been to.

They have an area towards the back where you can get refreshments and what not and a place to sit should you need to rest for a spell and take a break from whatever you may have going on. There is nothing too unique about the place as it is a typical store of it's sort but for a place like Saratoga and it's rural, remote location it's a nice little type of oasis should you need gas and some grab and go food without doing a lengthy sit down at any of the restaurants.

I love turquoise jewelry and this was the place to find so many great vintage rings, bracelets and necklaces. I left with 2 turquoise rings, one made by Ray himself and one vintage Boulder Turquoise ring from the '60's (see photos). His selection of REAL authentic (not dyed howlite) turquoise is remarkable. He's an expert on turquoise and a rad dude to boot! He has amazing vintage cowboy boots there too!! Ray hand-picks everything in the store himself, he grew up at vintage auctions and has a keen eye for amazing items. Everything in the store is awesome, vintage cowboy shirts, vintage clothing, vintage housewares and decorative items, at all price points. There's something for everyone in this store.
