I love turquoise jewelry and this was the place to find so many great vintage rings, bracelets and necklaces. I left with 2 turquoise rings, one made by Ray himself and one vintage Boulder Turquoise ring from the '60's (see photos). His selection of REAL authentic (not dyed howlite) turquoise is remarkable. He's an expert on turquoise and a rad dude to boot! He has amazing vintage cowboy boots there too!! Ray hand-picks everything in the store himself, he grew up at vintage auctions and has a keen eye for amazing items. Everything in the store is awesome, vintage cowboy shirts, vintage clothing, vintage housewares and decorative items, at all price points. There's something for everyone in this store. Plus Ray rules and you'll have a great conversation with him while shopping his beautiful store. It's a must stop for anyone driving thru Saratoga. Enjoy!

And then proceeded to argue and debate with my friend and I until we got so frustrated with trying to purchase a simple wine glass that we just left without getting anything. She could have easily left her opinion to herself and rang me up formally but instead she chose to pick a debate over politics. In my mind this is unacceptable and I will never support her business.

They have all sorts of food for cooking. Sauces, curry paste, flavorings, noodles, spice packs, packaged ramen--all the standards. The food is competitively priced, which is great for how remote they are! They even had a pack of dried shiitake mushrooms when I could not find any fresh ones at Walmart. They have a modest freezer and refrigerator section--it's small but covers the basics (fish and the like). They have a fairly wide selection of oriental candy in various quantities. A huge incense selection. If they do not carry something and there is enough demand they are open to start carrying it. The staff is really kind and welcoming. They do not have any public restrooms. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are somewhat smaller than most surplus stores I've been to.
