Where's Ashton! I was seriously waiting for an MTV camera crew to pop out during my visit this afternoon. Regrettably, the MAC girls in Macy's at the Meadows mall weren't pretending. MUA here are not helpful period!! After a poor attempt at matching concealer and the same MUA telling me someone else has to help me because her alleged appoint "came back"... I was over the whole experience. The next MUA was even more useless and disregarded me as well to help someone else that walked up after I did. I gave up and settled for a few quick grabs. Of course I observed the initial MUA assisting someone else who asked for help while her alleged "appointment " waited. This place is an unorganized hot-mess express counter! I definitely don't recommend coming here unless your able to physically grab what you need without additional assistance. I'm still agitated because I did not purchase everything I needed! read more

Customer service here is incredibly disappointing... An asian blonde chick was too busy doing inventory, or something of that nature. Asked her for help on three colors and only offered waterproof and that none of the colors would work, told me sorry and that I should check out the pro store. Another gentleman who was very quiet and dry was helping my family so I got involved. It was like pulling teeth to get information. But he did go out of his way to find a couple colors that would possibly work. But after trying to find a matching foundation to my skin he never mentioned the colors so I am still not sure what to buy when I come back... I walked up to the register to buy my powder today, there was a guy on the phone, never looked at or acknowledged me, when he was done on the phone HE WALKED AWAY!!!! There was a girl to my left cleaning her brushes never bothered to ask if she could help me or at least tell me to drop dead so I know I'm not invisible. I finally threw my hands up and said you guys are obviously too busy and left. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me so I am pretty stuck. I hate looking around and would rather have somebody tell me what's best I use but of course I had to ask someone for help after five minutes of looking with no greeting. Finally I asked someone for help, (she didn't give me her name) but ended up being very helpful and honest about my choices. I did tell her that I wanted to buy more than I wanted after trying some stuff on, but she suggested I wear what I had on to see how I liked it for the rest of the night before I made a huge purchase. Horrible, Horrible, horrible customer service. One of the worst MAC stores I've been to. Associates walked past me and didn't greet me, or ask if I needed help or anything. Why choose to work with the public If you're not a people person? Artists were very snooty in my opinion. This store was out of stock on everything!!!! Wow...this was my first and last time coming to this store. Then after 5 minutes when I went to the register they asked me if I needed something??? Duh! That's why I'm standing here moron! This was my 3rd time here at this particular Mac counter. Each time I came the service is worse. I don't like to write bad reviews but honestly this has been the worse customer service experience by far. I told a sales girl I needed her help when she's done with the other customer then I see that she just started helping someone else when she was done meanwhile I've been standing at the counter for 20 minutes. Then I see other customers being helped before me. So I went to another girl and she said she has a customer and that customer came after me so I told her so. She got the guy to help me but while I sit and waited he helped other people who also came after me. He finally came to me and applied foundation to half of my face then left again to help other customers. I sat there for a while and he never came back so I wiped the foundation off and left. I am so disappointed and this will be the LAST TIME EVER I will visit this counter. read more

I am a Platinum customer at Ulta and VIB at Sephora. To say that I "love" makeup is an understatement. I have been sold all types of foundations and concealers to help with my hyperpigmentation. Nothing has worked! I'm not saying that MAC is better than any other brand, although it might be, I think that what made a difference for me was the makeup artist that helped me. Jaqueline (we even share the same name) was amazing! She achieved what no one else had ever before and she gave me great tips. No one bothers to see if you need help. there's not a designated person in front to handle transactions so you have to wait. Worst customers service I have even received in my life. I arrived knowing exactly what I wanted, stood by the product while the "employees " walked by me without offering me assistance. One was working on a customer's makeup while the other who I later found out was the manager worked on someone elses. I waited patiently for 20 minutes till my newborn started crying. My five year old asking how come no one wanted to help us. Upset I finally found my husband in the store and told him I wanted to go without the product I had went to the mall for. My husband then angrily walked up to the manager and told her I had been waiting around forever and just simply needed to be rung up. The person who she was working on turned out to be another employee who then rung me up. Apparently working on each others faces is more important than helping paying customers. Every Mac employee has been so rude and if you ask any questions about make up they make you feel stupid & you're wasting their time. The only time I ever got great service was from the girls at fashion show. I went to Mac at meadows mall to find my shade for the prolong concealer because I heard how good it is the guy working took one glance at my light completion & said "we don't have your color" as a salesmen wouldn't you at least try to find a similar match or point me to another concealer? Not just turn the sale away. I was planning on buying quite a bit that day but they just lost the sale. Mac would be so much more successful if they had more caring employees that we're passionate about their job. Instead they rather do each others make up. read more

Went in today to get my make up done for a photo shoot for my husband's and I Christmas cards. Made a last minute appointment which they were able to accommodate. Dustin was my make up artist, and he did such an amazing job, my make up looked flawless and I got so many compliments, plus he explained everything he as using and why. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back in the future. read more

I really wish I could give negative stars. The first time I went in to look for faux lipstick the first employee was polite and said she didn't know if they had it in Stock so she asked a lady I'm assuming was her manager she walked up to me and told me in the rudest tone "you want what?" I told her faux lipstick she asked if it was limited edition I told her no its a permanent shade she looked at me like I was the biggest idiot in the world and in the most condescending tone said "we don't have a lipstick called that" at this point I was over it and didn't want to give them my business so I just left I know for a fact faux is a permanent shade and even if you weren't sure maybe look it up and don't talk to me like I'm stupid. The second time I went thinking maybe someone else is there and I don't feel like driving to another store so again I went in to buy fix+ and started looking at the lipsticks of course the same woman comes up to help me I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I know retail isn't easy and everyone has their days I told her I wanted a brownish pink color that wasn't very dark she showed me two that were more beige and I told her I wanted it a little darker she gave me the dirtiest look and said again very rudely "that color doesn't exist you're going to have to just sit here and try out the lipsticks let me know if you need anything" and literally left the counter she didn't walk over to another area she left the counter entirely I bought the fix+ because I needed it and left. If she is the manager I feel so bad for the staff she seems like a terrible person to be around. read more

One star is VERY generous for this location. I am a frequent MAC shopper and I was at this location to trade in my 6 empty containers for the free lipstick for my 15 year old daughter. I was ignored for the first five minutes of being there. Finally I was acknowledged by an employee named Michael- who was dressed very unprofessionally, taking selfie in the mirror, and had NO name tag. My daughter was looking at the color selection while I was discussing my options with Michael, when he told me to tell my daughter to get away from the display. He said it was "under construction". After Michael walked away to help another customer we walked back over to the display that wasn't labeled as "under construction" where the lipstick color my daughter wanted was there. Michael approached us again and I explained to him the color we wanted was here. He told us that people steal the lipsticks on this display. After that, we asked if they had that color in stock. He checked one drawer and then said no. I asked for my containers back and I told him he shouldn't accuse his customers of being criminals. I will not be returning to this location again. read more
