Used MAC motors before and was super impressed with service & price. Had another issue today that turned out to be a Manufacturer recall but they were super helpful, making telephone calls for me etc. even though they weren't going to get the benefit of the business. They are even allowing me to keep the vehicle at their premises over Christmas whilst awaiting recovery by Land Rover. Can't recommend them highly enough read more

Charlie and Richard at MAC Motors are a rare breed of excellence, professionalism, honesty and hard work. I went to MAC Motors after other garages claimed they couldn't replace my CAM belt due to overtightened bolts, electrical difficulties and suspension problems. We had many frank and honest conversations about the cost, whether worth doing to age of my car, the risk of further issues and for once I didn't feel patronised or talked down to because I was a woman. They tackled and sorted each problem in stages so I could evaluate costs/next steps and have done an excellent job. My 2012 SMAXX now drives beautifully and I feel assured that I've done the right thing spending money on it rather than investing in a new car. After going to elite and performance jags in derby .with my xkr .convertable .having spent four t1housand pounds with them. The original fault with my engine managment light still came back on after ten miles .this fault was never rectified after several visits .in addition to this having decided to refurbish the wheels .which they undertook .they managed to break one wheel .and had to replace it before having all the wheels refurbished .at the same time the fuel sender in the tank wasnot accurate .so they fitted a used one and charged. 185 pounds .which still did not register ..having completed a fortnights holiday in scotland .we experienced.a loud banging noise from the rear of the car .and was reccomended mac motors of curzon street burton on trent .we were met by charlie .the owner who immediately instilled confidence with his obvious knowledge and experience of jaguars.after examination he showed to us that the wheels were breaking up two of the bolts were missing one bolt had been glued in .also he had to tighten the bolts on the front wheels .having put the spare wheel on .i returned the car to performance jags having spoken to the manager .he burst out laughing..after having my car for two months they replaced the wheels .they also fitted 8 platinum. Plugs which after 1500 miles they looked like they had done 20000 thousand. I think they were secondhand as well .so after all this trouble and a lot of expence .i went to mac motors of burton .still with the problem of engine managment light coming on and the fuel tank problem. which they were able to resolve fitting a new sender and 8 new plugs ive since had my vehical. Serviced with mac motors .and they have proved to be very professional and reliable .and ive had no further trouble with my jag.
