As soon as I walked in the door, Mac Outpost gave me a great impression. Scott was really friendly and genuine. I was already an owner of a Mac. It was my 4th Mac actually! I've owned one since the 90's. This one is a Macbook Air. Absolutely love it by the way. It was my first time in Mac Outpost because I was from out of town. Montreal to be exact. And I had a major problem with my MacBook and I had to make a presentation at the University the next day. Super stressed out! Scott was extremely sympathetic and he even got me rush service so that I could get to the front of the line. The tech (Gavin I think) was a great guy and got my MacBook up and running. I didn't even have to wait til the next day, it was all done that afternoon. Turned out to be a software problem. Some kind of Malware that kept popping up and getting in the way of what I was trying to do. Probably my own fault for opening some spam email or something. Ahhhh!! But the long and the short of it is: if you have a chance to visit the guys at Mac Outpost, do it. They have lots of product to sell, lots of extras to go with your Mac (I grabbed an extra adapter for my MacBook while I was there) and it's a really nice friendly atmosphere. read more

I love the staff at this Mac outpost! I prefer them to the apple store because they are experienced adults in their careers (not 17 working a part time job) which gives me peace of mind and extra confidence in their skill and expertise. I also find that they are all so kind! It's always a pleasure stopping in. They explain the tech stuff in simple terms and give great advice on what my device needs and what isn't necessary which ends up saving me money. I have had my MacBook Pro for 12 years and have needed very little work done on it, however I can always depend on them when needed. They are also strict with their COVID limitations and I feel safe and comfortable in their store which is incredibly important to me. read more

So many things have been left behind due to technology. Not all bad but one of those is the lost art of sending thank you cards. Especially hand written. Visited just before Christmas. Good alternative to the Apple Store or Superior Computers. If you need a Mac or Mac service, go here! In fact, the Apple Store recommended that I go here! Had a great experience with Scott and (Paul I think)? I brought in my 2010 Macbook Pro for an update/tune up and they set me right up (took 3 days, but Scott said it was very busy so I didn't mind leaving it with them). They have a modern showroom and even have some stuff that the Apple store doesn't. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Overall they exceeded my expectations by far. I have been going to Mac Outpost for 20 years. They are extremely professional, friendly and they care. They care about doing a good job for their clients. They have come to my house when I needed assistance with my network and again they were very professional and courteous. Most recently I purchased a used MacBook at their Wharncliffe location. It saved me about $1000 over new and it works very very well, I couldn't be happier with it.
