I started PT for hip aches and pains that wouldn't go away and just kinda lingered. I worked with Glenn to address these pains and also strengthen the area. He was sure to challenge me and made sure I pushed myself but always ensured it was done safely and not something that would aggravate the issue more. When I injured my ankle (unrelated) during our time together he also helped me with some strengthening exercises for that. Glenn not only helped me rehab my hip but also provided lots of laughs and fun conversation along the way. I'm thinking about signing up for my first 50k and I wouldn't have had the confidence to do so if my hip was still bothering me... thankfully not only did the PT help, but it armed me with a exercises and movements to help the area stay strong.

During my initial visit Dustin, he was able to interpret my MRI results and come up with a plan for recovery. We started with mobility and stretching then gradually over time threw in exercises with increased load/stress. He was very thorough with explaining how the knee worked, what was affected and how we can build my strength/confidence back up. As an RN managing a complicated spine condition alongside shoulder and elbow injuries, I found that the prescribed rehab exercises actively exacerbated my condition. I reluctantly completed six treatments hoping for improvement, but the final session left me incapacitated for five days and required an urgent care visit. When I cancelled my remaining appointment and clearly explained that the therapy was worsening my injuries, the clinic retaliated. They contacted my Primary Care Physician and falsely claimed I was "rude at all times." I never once raised my voice, used harsh words, or even complained during my sessions. It is incredibly disheartening to see fellow healthcare professionals resort to such blatant dishonesty instead of addressing a negative clinical outcome. I hope leadership investigates this behavior and corrects the record with my PCP.
