I love how they celebrate all of our wins and encourage us when we need it most. They have this amazing ability to meet us where we are in our fitness journeys while still pushing us to grow stronger and more confident. What really sets them apart is how real and relatable they are. They're not about perfection--they're about progress. This creates a dynamic where we feel comfortable being open and honest, which helps them guide us toward our goals even better. Facility - Honestly, it's one of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to. You know that typical gym smell? It doesn't exist here. I'm pretty sure it's because the mats are regularly professionally cleaned. Plus, all members are asked to use "indoor-only" gym shoes or wipe their shoes with Chlorox wipes before stepping on the mat. Even the bathrooms (I can vouch for the women's) are always tidy and well-stocked. I'd bet the men's is just as clean! Environment - The vibe is everything. It's positive, fun, and feels like a family. The coaches know you by name, and the members are all so encouraging--especially on those tough metcon days (you know the ones!). Celebrating milestones, like workout counts and birthdays, is just part of the culture here, and it makes showing up feel special. Workouts - The 30-minute format is genius--perfect for busy people who still want a solid, effective workout. Every session is thoughtfully planned to build strength, stamina, and confidence. And they don't stop there! They also run fun challenges throughout the year for weight loss, strength goals, or just shaking things up and having a good time doing it.

Very clean, well kept, and the staff is always cleaning throughout the day. $24.99 for the Black Card Membership. You can go to all Planet Fitness locations and you can bring a guest with you as well. I'll be going here for a while because the price plus the extra amenities (massage chairs, water beds, etc) make it that much more worth it. Check it out! P.S. - They are not open 24 hours like they used to be. Fridays they close at 9 and Sat/Sun is from 7-7. That is the only drawback because I do like my late night workout sessions!

I had left two bottles of tanning lotion in the room on accident, number 2 to be specific. I called immediately after and the front desk said they would hold on to it for me with my name and phone number. I came back the next day and he said they were both thrown away, but my name and number were available to contact? Young guy long hair. I've been in the customer service industry for too long to know they did NOT throw them away. I told the kid it's okay if someone took them... but nothing. Anyways the gym is fine... it does what you need, but I don't trust the front desk now. Seems that if you forget something, you won't get it back.

I love Pilates Heartcore…read more I've been to five classes so far - two private, one virtual, and two group - and have been led by five different instructors. Each class was wonderful, as was each instructor. I'm new to Pilates - before Heartcore I had only gone to/done two studio classes fifteen years ago + a few YouTube (mat) Pilates videos over the years - so I was very nervous starting out. Each instructor made me feel welcome and very supported. In addition, when I first started taking classes, I spoke with Katie, the owner of the studio, over email many times (to schedule classes), and she was so helpful and very quick to respond. The studio itself is spacious and very clean (including the bathrooms). Also, Heartcore has no "surprises" - something I very much appreciate; all policies are posted on their website, so everything that prospective + current students need to know is there. People may need to set reminders for themselves about things - an upcoming class they registered for, the need to bring grippy socks to class (which they do sell in the studio), when to cancel your registration to a class if you won't be able to make it, etc. - but that is to be expected at almost every establishment/business. I've been a member here for just about a month, and I don't foresee myself ending my membership anytime soon (barring a faraway move or something). I look forward to each class, and I'm so excited to keep going. I love this studio!

I wanted to challenge myself, get stronger, and prove to myself that 50 was just the beginning. With the guidance of Coach Rhoda, that one goal turned into so much more! Since then, I've completed two Spartan Trifectas, multiple distance races and DEKA events, and half marathons--and I continue to challenge myself with new fitness goals. Coach Rhoda has played a huge role in helping me develop the strength, endurance, stamina, and confidence to keep pushing my limits. She is an incredible coach and trainer who is supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping her clients succeed. She is also very mindful of injuries and knows how to modify training appropriately while still challenging you to improve. I also really appreciate that DPF goes beyond workouts. Coach Rhoda provides nutrition counseling, and the membership includes access to a recovery room, which has been a huge bonus for someone who loves endurance events and stays active. But what really makes DPF special is the people. The members are warm, welcoming, encouraging, and incredibly supportive. It feels like a community--not just a gym. If you're looking for a place where you'll be challenged, supported, and surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed, I highly recommend Distinct Physique Fitness. I came in at 50 wanting to check one item off my bucket list. I'm still here, still getting stronger, and still setting bigger goals! ‍

The coaches--Jordon, Pren, and Billy--are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve. Whether they're teaching energetic kids or grown adults who occasionally zone out, they always take the time to make sure everyone learns in a positive environment. One thing that really sets this gym apart is the sense of community. They regularly host BBQs on holidays and special occasions, and anyone who comes by for Friday night open mat is always welcome. I've honestly never trained at a gym that makes sure everyone gets fed after practice, but these guys never let us leave hungry. They also go the extra mile to make the gym comfortable, especially during the summer, with air conditioning and plenty of fans to keep the airflow going. I truly feel blessed to be part of this growing team and family. It's more than just a place to train--it's a community that genuinely cares about its members.

They all have different styles and are really patient. They explain the details behind every technique, and they never make anyone feel like being a beginner or not understanding something is a burden. I've been training for a pretty long time now, so it is refreshing to be around coaches who genuinely love the art and love sharing it without ego. This place is a whole family vibe. Having the option of a women's program is really nice too. Coach Katie is a seasoned brown belt competitor, and you can see it right away. Our 14-year-old and 10-year-old daughters both train, and watching them grow so quickly in the kids' program has been one of the coolest things to see as a dad. My 14-year-old will even come train with the adults too, which says a lot compared to some of the other gyms we've been to. We also bring our 3-year-old son, and the gym has this gated kids' area that is pretty legit. He's always having his own little party and is chillin while the rest of us are on the mats. It's a small thing, but it makes a huge difference for families with little ones who aren't quite ready to train yet. The talent and the culture here are authentic, which is really important to me. It feels like family, and for us, it is. If you're looking for a place to train, take an intro class. You'll see what I mean.
