Mason advised I just replace my tower, so I took myself and my credit card to Best Buy where I purchased a lenovo computer CPU that looks like a tiny spaceship. I took the new "little guy" and the tower of the old computer back to Cal Tech. Mason efficiently moved my data to the "little guy", and did so at a reasonable price. I have since then dealt with Ethan, Matt, and Brent, the owner, who answered the phone on a Saturday! All of them have been considerate and clear in their explanations. All that remained to be done was to connect the two monitors and update the software. Rick decided that it was necessary to reinstall the data from my old computer. He did this from the backup drive, which was not up to date. When that error was pointed out to him, the transfer had to be done again from the old computer. All of this redundancy took several hours, for which I was charged $550. Two days later, I discovered that my email program would neither send nor receive, and all of my email history was gone. I tried calling Rick Wilson twice to ask that he rectify the email program. He did not answer, so I left voicemails explaining the problem, but he never returned my calls. I also sent two text messages, which also were ignored. Now I have to find someone else to finish the work for which he was overpaid. The quality of work I received from Mac Services does not speak well for the professional competence of Rick Wilson. More importantly, failure to respond to calls and texts doesn't speak well from his ethics or integrity.

I have my office computer repaired twice and just now I have returned home with my 2012 Macbook Pro after having it "tuned up". (FYI it runs better than when I originally purchased it). These guys will take care of you. On top of all my personal computer repairs Will is phenomenal when it comes to making sure your business isn't a target of ransomware threats. He has the foresight to make sure everything is backed up daily/weekly/ monthly depending on your needs, you have multiple working copies, and have the ability to use a copy within minutes. Why pay a ransomware threat when you can be safely covered and never have the headache of trying to figure out how to run a business with no backup data and pay to get your own data back.
