I also love their menu of customizable sparkling waters and lemonades. They had sugar free syrups as well. The pistachio muffin was super tasty, I almost wanted another one. Service was great and everyone was sweet. I believe the owner was there and she was very helpful and nice to talk to as well. Wish we lived closer because we definitely loved this place and would love to go back. One waffle accidentally came back with syrup on the waffle and they immediately made it right. 10/10 for making sure the customer, even the 8 year old, got what they wanted. The adults got the etoufee, the gumbo, and the shrimp and grits. Gumbo with the added seafood had real fried soft shelled crab! A true treat and I helped myself to my mom's plate. My husband ordered the etoufee and he had finished it in just a few minutes. They make a really brown, creamy roux that has a great depth of flavor. I got the shrimp and grits and once again, my 5 year old kept eating off my plate. A bit spicy for her, but great for me. The grits were creamy and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. We ended with the bread pudding. It truly was like eating a custard. It came out hot and steaming, made fresh. Super vanilla flavor, really rich. After all this food, we couldn't finish it, but the waiter made sure to bring fresh spoons to make sure we could all try it. Would definitely return.
