Needed some liquor while out of town, and this was a great place to stop! Didn't need much help but when I asked for it, I was led to 50¢ tumblers! Obviously I took two lol. There is no food, other than snacks, and I didn't get any. The ambiance is chill and the store is organized well. All in all, I'm glad I stopped there. read more

Ok. So this was my first visit to Branson and must say EVERYONE was extremely pleasant and nice, except the folks at Macadoodles. The cashier acted like I personally forced him to work there. He didn't speak, smile, nothing just seemed annoyed by our presence. I'm not going to say everyone there is racist, but I suspect I'm not their target demographic even though my money spends the same. They did have an awesome selection of liquor and such. So they have that going for them. Now the guys in the wine section were THE BOMB. Friendly, knowledgeable and just all around good guys, hence the 3 stars. But those cashiers in the front, no bueno. If you are Black or POC probably could find better places to spend your money. read more

Visiting Branson from Hot Springs Arkansas, I was very happy to see such a great selection of craft beers for a change! They had a large selection in a "build your own sampler" section of singles. We went to the nearby Wa***rt...they had a great selection for a big box retailer and the prices were MUCH cheaper! We would 1000 times prefer the big store...we will not return here. read more

This might be one of the best liquor stores I've ever been in. Their staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely willing to help you if you need guidance. I visited recently to find some bourbon and Shep was terrific. He is a super friendly guy who really knows about liquor. Their prices are excellent and the selection is the best in town. I've never had a bad experience at Macadoodle until yesterday. New young guy in the wine department, not impressed. Too busy giving one customer the benefit of his VAST experience with wine... when I was finally able to get a question in about a particular Pinot Grigio that was out of stock, his idea of a replacement was an overpriced, available at Walgreens, commercial blend. this place has the greatest customer service in the retail industry, by far, from any company by anywhere I have ever worked or shopped for and from. Every person I interacted with was incredible. there was no hovering. They asked open ended questions that had us interacting. they smiled and always greeted us WITH eye contact, like they were genuinely interested in me. This place was so helpful. From the time we walked through the door there was constant help and assistance. We also got recommendations. At times, two employees were helping. We got to taste good wine and evaluate it. The place is clean and the layout is pleasing to the eyes. The selection is second to none. And prices! They had the best prices we could find anywhere in the county. Their liquor and cigarettes were much cheaper than supermarkets had. They also gave us a volume discount. Ask for their discount card, if you have a large order. This is one of the best liquor stores I have ever shopped in. They did everything they could to help us. When leaving town, we stopped here to get gas. I decided to run in for a few bottles of water. See, I had never been in Macadoodles. Within 2 minutes, I sent a text: "Get in here!" This place has a huge variety of liquor! I could have spent hours just looking. The staff was friendly, and prices were great. I had been to a wine tasting and spent $12 on wine and thought that was a good price. At Macadoodles, the same wine was less than 1/2 of that! My husband and I finally left with 7 bottles of wine. (And 2 bottles of water). I can't wait to visit again! read more

So . . . I was looking for a cigar in Branson, and not much came up on Yelp. The cigar lounge in town was closed for the winter. However, I saw a billboard advertising a walk-in humidor at Macadoodles. So we gave it a try. They don't have a lounge or anyplace to smoke, but if you are just looking for a good cigar at a reasonable price, this is a great place to visit. I ran into the operator and she was very receptive to input and solicited opinions for additions to her stock. I told her that I thought she had covered all of the different strengths. Nobody can carry everybody's favorite, but there is something here for everybody. The humidor was a bit humid at 76%, but my cigar smoked like it was right on 70%. The cold may have affected the humidity readings in the humidor. Give this place a try if you want a cigar. I cannot attest to the alcoholic offerings, but it appeared they had a lot of stock. I can't imaging you couldn't find your favorite. read more

Pretty good selection of beer. Nice and helpful staff. Prices were slightly high, but not outrageous. It is a tourist town after all. It seems like there were many isles of wine and other liquors, although I didn't go exploring. The whole place was nice and clean, even well organized. If you must drive here an extra 10 minutes...you won't be disappointed with the wide selection of wine, beer and liquor choices available. While looking for options on bourbon i was told by an employee that even if he had anything other than what was displayed he wouldn't sell it to me.. "it was for his special customers". Left my cart full of beer and other bourbon sit. I'll drive somewhere else and spend my $$. You are in a tourist location... maybe learn to cater to people who chose to shop there..?!?? read more
