I rented an apartment with them from 2016 to 2017, and I have no complaints with the apartment or the management. When I rented with FHPM, the managers were John and Colleen Downham. I was on a tight schedule, but John went out of his way to meet me during the only window I had available and show me the three apartments that we discussed earlier that day. I got the keys to my apartment the following day, and had no issues with it the entire time I lived there. The only thing that happened during my rental period was that one of the common area washing machines didn't work, so I used a different machine and I left a message for FHPM that evening. I was told the machine was fixed the following day (I didn't verify this since I didn't need to do laundry again right away). When I moved out, Colleen quickly mailed me my full deposit back. This month, I am in need of a reference for another apartment rental in another state. Since I have lived in privately-owned housing ever since I moved way from MT, and for nearly two decades before renting in MT, FHPM was my only option I had to get a reference. I contacted FHPM, only to find out that John or Colleen were no longer there. Instead, Julie McHenry contacted me, and has been completely professional and understanding of my situation. She informed me that the previous management left very detailed records of my time with FHPM, and therefore she would gladly give me a reference. Julie even replied to an email I left her well after regular office hours one night. After such great service from Julie now, and John and Colleen then, I volunteered to give FHPM a review of my own. I strongly recommend giving FHPM a try if you are in need of an apartment in the greater Great Falls, MT area.

Even to this day, we were on time and ahead. She still chose to evict us, two people with disabilities, anyway . My wife is Blind, and I have severe mental health disabilities. But throwing us out into the street did not matter to her at all. The way that we are being forced out of this home is illegal according to Montana renters rights. I found this out when I called up the cascade county sheriffs department and I was told that the process that they are doing is completely wrong and illegal. We are supposed to get an eviction notice served by the sheriff department and that has never happened. With the moving process taking time to move everything out all I asked was for a few more days but instead of choosing to be understanding she decided to deduct money from our deposit. Got a call a few days later and was told I was misquoted on two of the items and the price difference was more than $700! Okay, scratch those items. Get the rest delivered and discovered they forgot the mirrors to my medicine cabinet. NBD. I've got time to make it right, remodel still in progress. Called in and picked up my mirrors. Get home and discover the mirrors are right, but they've delivered the WRONG medicine cabinet. I paid for a 36inch and they delivered a 30inch. Then I get a call from them stating my space saver is in. What space saver? I call to discuss space saver and wrong medicine cabinet. Was informed that the space saver was going to be a problem because it was a special order and was told by that gal that, "I specifically remember you saying, I want that (space saver) but not the shower door." That's not true! I WANTED the shower door and ordered it, but she called me a week later to tell me it was $500 more than she quoted me so I ditched it. The space saver is $238! Who would pay $238 for a space saver you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond for $90 buck?! I had new gutters installed on my home on October 27,2021. Everything went well and I had no…read moreproblems that I knew of. In the spring of 2025 my wife noticed that there were birds hanging around the end of one gutter which seemed odd. I set up a ladder to have a look and discovered that that end of the gutter was lower than the other end where the water drains out. After further inspection I discovered that it was improperly installed. I called ABC 1 week before memorial weekend and spoke with a lady about my situation. She told me that they would come out the next day and check it out. I stayed home all day waiting for someone to show up, no body came. I waited another 2 months for them to set up another time because I figured that everyone was out for the holiday. I called again about 2 weeks ago and this time the lady told me that the ice and snow had caused it and that it wouldn't be under warranty without any inspection. I assured her that wasn't the case and that it was improperly installed. She was very rude and condescending but agreed to send someone out to have a look at it. I told her that I wanted them to install a few more gutters that I skipped before because of money restraints. I still haven't heard from them nor do I expect to. Last year my brother had them over to his place to install some gutters and is totally disgusted with the job they did for him. I told him to call them and complain but he is somewhat passive and not sure if he did. I also asked him to leave a review here but again I'm not sure if he is going to.
