While on the way to Sturgis my car was hit by a deer on the driver's side of the vehicle. Several friends and neighbors reccommended Mack's Auto Body and I'm so glad they did. Eugene and Jeneen are the owners and they run an amazing business. You can tell they put their heart and souls into it and that's why they are always so busy. Jeneen even drove me to and from the rental car location while my car was in the shop. Fast, friendly and professional. Deer damage is one of the highest dangers here in the hills and if you do get hit, take it to Mack's. They'll take good care of your repair. read more

It was 10:30pm on the first day of my 2 week vacation, driving from Chicago to Idaho, when a large whitetail deer buck decided to run in front of my SUV near Sturgis. The vehicle was not driveable and I needed a rental car while the insurance company did their thing. The next morning, I made call after call to the rental agencies around the area, unable to find anything available. I was about to give up when I tried Mack's Auto Body. Jenene advised that she didn't have anything suitable at the moment, but she would make some calls. Within a few minutes she called back, she had located an SUV for me and would pick me up in about an hour! The only stipulation was that I needed to return the vehicle to their shop on my return trip. I was back on the road that afternoon, enjoying my vacation. When the time came for my return trip, I found that my insurance company had totalled my vehicle, so I needed Jenene's help. Once again, she was able to work some magic and found another car that I could use "one-way" back to Chicago without a huge repositioning fee! I had contacted other agencies and no one was as friendly, helpful or persistent as Jenene. The rental was through Hertz, but Mack's is a Hertz agency. Jenene is one of the owners at Mack's, so I'm sure this is an example of their business' culture overall. I can't say enough about the customer service ethos at Mack's! read more

Have had good work done at Macks previously and have friends who have been happy with their service. However, on my repeat business, I was aggressively accused of being a jerk by the owner after asking them to check a minor issue I had with recently contracted work. This is one of the most bizarre encounters that I've ever had and I'm still trying to make sense of it. If you decide to use Mack's for whatever reason, I strongly recommend not paying until you inspect their work, as you should any shop. I just wished we could have had a civil discussion of my issues without the name calling and explain to me why I'm a jerk for asking a panel/door gap be reviewed and why it wasn't an issue. read more

I cannot thank the folks at Mack's enough! I had torn lose my front fender including knocking off the back cover of the headlight and a cover that protects the windshield squirter hoses. They were able to get me in and fix everything the next day and all within an hour. They also fixed the window squirter hose that had a hole in it, which had not been working well for a few months. It works like brand new now and this car is a 2009 Subaru Outback! Not only was the service great, the price to fix everything was amazingly reasonable.
