I found the range to be very professional, clean, and modern. Safety precautions are taken and everything is well-monitored. May not be the cheapest around but you can tell the money is well-invested in the facility. They even have a virtual range for training. Monthly and annual subscriptions are offered with some perks included. I highly recommend if you're a serious shooter and prefer NOT to have the weather impact your enjoyment or performance.

LADIES BEWARD: This range is not for women, or at least that is the way they made me feel. The range is not feel very welcoming. It's a shame, because there aren't many outdoor ranges in the area. I always believed a range should be a place to learn, practice, and feel comfortable, but that wasn't the case here. I was embarrassed because I was the one who recommended it to my group.

I researched several stores and it's my fault for not doing so in the first place. Really double the price! I wanted my money refunded and was told there was a 30% restocking fee. That amount is unethical, and I am out 270 dollars. I was told well, "if you didn't want the gun ,you should never have put it on layaway." Is this what you say to a customer. You robbed me of 270 dollars. I will never step foot in that store again.

Superior Outfitters is generally a pretty good store. There's alot to like. They have a pretty…read moredecent selection of firearms of all types and they even have supressors, powered by The Silencer Shop. Also, the staff are friendly and attentive. Additionally, I like that they have a table with several tablets for filling out paperwork, making purchases and transfers go much faster than at other stores. There are, however, some aspects that stop Superior Outfitters from being a GREAT store. One aspect is the selection itself. While they do stock virtually any type of firearm that you can think of, they seem to lean towards the higher end weapons. Of course this translates into a smaller selection for those who have smaller budgets. That isn't necessarily a knock on the store, as they do seem to price what they do have reasonably for the most part (I'm definitely no expert, especially when talking about an AR that cost $2k), but this ensures that Superior Outfitters will never be the first place I look. The other areas where I think Superior Outfitters falls a bit sort is in the accessory department. Sure, they do have some stuff, but it seems that they never have anything interesting and I usually end up going down the road to Bass Pro to find what I'm looking for. For instance, they have several variations of Ruger 10/22 and similar rifles covering a good chunk of wall space, but they almost never have mags or other accessories for them. Frankly, that's just dumb considering the 10/22 is the most accessorized firearm in the history of firearms. Of course this extends to plenty of other products and gear as well. Ammo is the the other area where this store slips. The selection is moderate at best and overpriced. I check it out from time to time to maybe catch a sale, but have never seen any price that Acedemy or Bass Pro can't beat easily. This would be less of an isse if both stores were not right down the road. It's unlikely that I would ever buy ammo at Superior Outfitters. Additionally, they do not carry reloading supplies. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely up to them to decide if it's worth the hassle or not, but when I'm buying guns or ammo, I almost always pick up some reloading component even if it's just a box of primers. I'm definitely not knocking Superior Outfitters. It's a decent store overall, just not my go-to one stop shop. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, it's a good place to go.

I brought a suppessor and had it shipped to superior outfitters . I met this young man name Francis that work there . I couldn't believe that this young man would and could be so helpful. The store itself and the product selection were fine. What was not fine was the behavior behind the…read morecounter. While I was in the store, an older man working behind the counter carried on an extended conversation with another customer that involved repeated derogatory comments about Mexican Americans and American Spanish speakers. This wasn't a single offhand remark -- it went on for a noticeable amount of time, openly and unapologetically, right in front of other customers. What made it even worse was how comfortable they seemed saying it, as if they assumed everyone in the store either agreed or couldn't understand them. I understood exactly what was being said, and it created an uncomfortable, hostile environment that no customer should have to tolerate. Personal opinions have no place being broadcast from behind a retail counter, especially when they cross into ethnic or racial slander. Allowing that behavior reflects poorly on the business and its leadership. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address this immediately.
