They needed to go onto our neighbors' property to get the job done safely, and they did an excellent job communicating with the neighbors. They came back several weeks later to grind out the stumps. Another tree service said they couldn't get their stump grinder down our narrow driveway to the backyard. But Carl's had no problem, and they left the yard in great shape with the giant stumps all gone. They had to take down the fence and put it back up again, and they took care with that, leaving the fence in great shape.

They promised that they were doing the edging, they didn't have an edger, so the guy war using shovels to edge, and they quit after couple of them. they didn't even have a fork to spread the mulch. And they got the wrong mulch. they wanted $3K cash, I paid them so I can get rid of them. May be they are good at cutting trees but, please don't hire them for landscaping. In fact, the new homeowner is continuing his services. The yard is challenging; it's basically a rocky, steep hill with lots of overgrowth. I called 15+ companies before finding this one, and of the few that bothered to return my call, they declined the job because of the hill. He had no hesitations about the lawn, and was willing to schedule right away. He did a good job getting the overgrowth under control initially, and has maintained the space well.
