I tried the Popeyes Mac with added chipotle chicken and chicken tenders with fries on two separate occasions. Both were really good. It was a generous portion. The Mac and Cheese was so cheesy that it was a solid brick after the leftover was refrigerated. Even with the dine in option, it didn't come with a skillet but an aluminum container. It was still really yummy though. The chicken tenders and fries came out piping hot. You order on the kiosk and get your food from the counter when your name is called. Food came out quickly. I decided to Mac's for Mac and Cheese and went with the BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese and it was very delicious. I liked the caramelized onion with the BBQ sauce drizzled on the chicken. The silicone pot holder protected my hand from getting burned. I had to order the kiosk, but it was very easy. okay i go into this place with a great mindset. i'm tired. i'm hungry. i just go in hoping for a nice meal. a nice bowl of good old mac and chesse. i order with my friend, we're excited. we place our order. NGL was a bit pricey but we kept our hopes high and we were ready for what was to come. we receive our meal in pretty good time, id say 10 mins, not too shabby. BEAUTIFUL presentation, smells fantastic, looks VERY good, our mouths were watering. the ambiance was quite nice. it was very clean and had good lighting and just overall good vibes. that's how they get you. we dig in and get a nice bite. INSTANT disappointment. the mac was undercooked and cold. the cheese, oh boy don't even get me started. it was a CLUMP of HARD SHREDDED CHEESE. this shouldn't even be considered mac n cheese it would just be mac... and cheese. we had to go hunting for noodles in this block of disbelief. now i will say, the noodles that were semi cooked were not bad. it had a nice creamy cheese sauce and it was warm. on the other hand, tears were shed, dreams were crushed, and my belly was empty. We went to Kalahari in Sandusky and tried this restaurant for the first time last Monday. We got two different kinds of mac and cheese to share. One was the Mama's mac with cheddar, mozzarella, and grilled hot dogs. The second one was the Carnitas mac. This one had pepper jack, mozzarella, corn and black bean salsa, seasoned pulled pork, hint of lime, tortilla strips and chipotle sauce. My personal favorite was the Carnitas. The pulled pork was moist and the chipotle sauce was delicious. Priced around 13-15 dollars a piece it was more than enough food to share between the four of us in our family. For Kalahari this is a decently priced option to share with your family when wanting a quick bite to eat. read more

Although I haven't had MACS' food yet, which looks fantastic!, I can rate their friendliness and customer service, which is amazing! They are located in the Kalahari resort, and I was trying to make dinner in my room (because that's what we've done for years) but realized I'd forgotten to bring tin foil. As I begged for some at the counter, needy and desperate and pathetic, rather than politely kicking me to the curb, they saved the night by very graciously donating to the cause.
