Hello y'all, just an update on our experience with mountain top adventures. So our first 3 days…read morethere out of 7 our unit had no air conditioning. The air conditioning was out on the third day. The electricity went out and spoiled all of the food that we were cooking the whole time we were there. My son was making videos of the rats that were coming out from underneath the sink and going around the cabinet and eating our dog food and then whenever we left there we got an additional $300 cost and getting rid of all of the bed bugs that we got while we received while we were staying in their cabins. I have made several attempts to reach out to the company to get some kind of refund for our stay and the arrogant owner or his staff never even took the time to call us back. They laughed on our face and told us they would not give us any kind of refund and if we don't come back they don't care. Unfortunately, sometimes when you travel from Texas all the way up to like West Virginia and you don't know anybody. You don't know who to choose and we made the worst choice we could have. There are other companies out there that have amazing people and they take care of their people. I just wish we would have chosen differently. The only thing good about our experience was the young lady that cleaned and service the units. Her name was Sissy. She was an amazing and she tried to help us the best she could. But when you work for a company that's in control she had no control but she tried so. Thank you Sissy........... P.S. The only reason I gave this company a one star. The factory rims had corroded ( thanks WV for the amount of salt you use in the winter BTW) to the point that I was constantly having tires go low or flat whenever the temperature got cold. The folks at Vigilante helped find me a excellent Motor Metal rims and Toyo tires for my Tundra. Since the closest rims of the right dimensions were in Tennessee, it wasn't until late Friday before they came in. The owner offered to put everything together on a Saturday, knowing I had to be at work the beginning of the following week. Great customer service and they make the customer feel like family.
