Mac did some work for us last fall and today came out to rescue us after we tried to take a tree down and it fell on our house! It fell across our sunroom and kitchen - all windows! Not only did he come at the last minute on a Sunday, he gave clear instructions on what we should do (and not do) while he was on the way. He spent 3 hours dismantling the tree a piece at a time and did everything humanly possible to limit the damage to the house. He made sure that everyone and everything was safe and what could have been a true disaster (that we created) resulted in 2 cracked cedar roof shingles and a dent in our gutter. Mac is a true professional and turned an extraordinarily stressful situation into a terrific experience. Despite the emergency call on a Sunday, his prices were half of what others had quoted us - and we would have paid whatever he asked! These fellows were amazing. They took down a tree in a very difficult location with virtually no damage to the surroundings. The tree was between a structure and a fence and they weren't allowed access to the adjoining property. They accomplished in 5 hours what another fellow said would take 2 1/2 days. Had Mac and his crew here Friday, April 27 to remove two trees and trim up four more. They did a fantastic job and trimmed trees look great! Can't wait to see them in full bloom. Took huge branches off a 70' weeping willow. Took the time to rope other branches so as not to fall on my garage or pier. The crew picked up and raked everything up (better than what it was). Leveled off a couple other trees for me and will take out stumps as well. Mac is VERY experienced. Did a better job than I expected at very fair price. Thx! read more

I had 2 maple trees and an elm in my yard, 2 of which were rotting and most likely would have fallen in the near future. I wanted all 3 of them removed and wanted to keep the firewood from the maples. Mac came out and gave me a more than fair price to put them on the ground and chip everything I didn't want. He and the crew came out and had them all down before noon, got rid of everything I didn't want and left me with all the logs for firewood that I wanted. There were many hazards with this job like main power lines and fences, they got it done safely without damaging anything. Mac and crew were very polite and handled the job very professionally. I have more work that will need to be done in the near future and il be calling them back for sure, no one can beat their prices. Highly recommend them to everyone needing quality tree work done. We had 7 trees that needed to be taken down. 2 were dead and 1 of them was a hazard. 1 was in our landscape and grew too big that it would ruin our retaining wall and septic. 3 were very tall and close to the house. The Hickory was at least 150' tall. The last tree was growing sideways into the house. Mac and his crew got all the trees down safely, ground 5 stumps, 1 of which was in our landscape and he was very careful not to ruin the retaining wall, chipped the 2 trees we asked for, cut up the other trees into firewood, and did this all in 8 hours. He and his crew were very professional and friendly. We have more work to be done and I will be calling him again. His price was more than fair and very hard to beat. read more
