Why is it so difficult to speak to someone at Macys Stonecrest? I keep holding and still can't speak to someone in the shoe dept.

Juankeena Rodgers Williams has been the worst manager that I've encountered in my entire career of working in retail. In my interview it was red flags as I recount her saying "ain't no one is going to take my job from me" in that moment I was taken aback but was thrilled to have an opportunity to work with MAC so I ignored it. One of the worst decisions of my life. From my day 1 of she pitted me against my coworker Keke. In what world will a person in a leadership position talk down to and about their team to their staff. I've witnessed and experienced Keena bully and harass those who she was not fond of due to her own insecurities. Constantly stretching the truth turning them into lies. Black balling artist who spoke up about her uncanny, unprofessional, and downright trifling behavior. Macys DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in fact when I reported Juankeena to upper management she then began to retaliate. It's so apparent that my clients complained to a manager Tammy (who confessed to me that she was intentionally misguiding me to keep me at this location after I would disclose to her how my manager would have me in distress) and MACYS MGMT did absolutely NOTHING. IN FACT THEY REWARDED HER EMPLOYE OF THE MONTH immediately after the complaints. (A slap in the face to those who've complained to mgmt about her poor and unprofessional behavior) over time things only worsen. People lost their jobs. Blacked balled and suffered all because of Juankeena Rodgers lies, insecurities, and jealousy. It's extremely unfortunate. Companies really need to stop promoting those who are good salesmen and look at the overall picture as she was never a good leader Leaders do not behave in such a manner. I placed an order online and later called the Lithonia Mall store to cancel the order. After checking my statement, not only was the order NOT cancelled but was listed as being "picked up." Picked up by whom, I do not know and of course it is listed on my October statement for payment. Are sales that bad with Macys that their staff have to resort to dishonesty? This is the worst Macy's ever! First, one of the cashiers looks at me and says,"You're not from around here are you? If you were you wouldn't put down you're wallet like that" then the cashiers behind the counter start laughing as if it's cute that they live in a dangerous neighborhood where you can't rest your bag. Then they incorrectly read my online order that I was trying to return/exchange in their system and confiscated my item. I called customer care who defended that it was NOT returned and told me to "make the store return the item." Really? How about you speak to them and stop ping ponging customers and accept some type of ownership? It took 17 calls to customer care and several conference calls to get this resolved. In the end I was offered an apology, but I'm just disgusted! Oh and cashier, congrats on living in the hood and thinking that's cool! Nice to know what you think of your area. I called and asked for an item they told me they had it. I asked them to place item to side that I was on my way. I traveled well over an hour to pick up item. They stated it was no longer on sale and they ran out. I informed them that I did in fact call and some did say they would place item to the side for me. They obviously did not care how far I came they didn't offer me any replacements or try to work out the whole ordeal. I left sooo upset and furious. As well as wasted gas, time, and money. I will NEVER go back to this location or any others for that much. So poorly ran. So unorganized. It's unfortunate my first trip is my last. read more

WHO STOLE THE COTTON? I was so frustrated while shopping in this store today. When I decide to go to Macy's, it is because I am obviously interested in better quality items. However, as I was looking at their sweaters and wraps, I noticed that they were of a very poor quality and mostly made of acrylic and other synthetic materials. It is almost impossible to find cotton or wool wraps and ponchos even in the finer stores. It's crazy, but I simply refuse to pay Macy prices for K-Mart quality! Something really needs to change and in the meantime, I will just have to do my quality shopping on line! ** Despite the poor sweater selection, they did have a varied and colorful selection of sweater dresses in various styles, (column, fit and flare). I love the ECI brand because they have great styles that are warm and comfortable. *** Macy's, please invest in some mirrors so that I don't have to wander around the store looking for a dressing room. Even Wal-mart has mirrors placed in strategic areas for the convenience of customers who just need a quick look. Thank you. read more

Slow! Slow! Slow! It literally took me over an hour to return items I purchased online. The sales associate messed up the return and could not catch/find her error. Let's just say I was annoyed but I was able to remain calm. read more

The MAAC section of Macy's was an amazing experience. I went to purchase 1 item and of course came out with a few more. Amber was my representative at the MAAC counter. I was one of only a few customers as I arrived when they first opened. She greeted everyone politely and cheerfully. She immediately assisted me with my concerns. Although she was interrupted a few times she remained engaged and cognizant of my time. She didn't offer me products that I didn't need or make me feel rushed. She did my eyes and they were flawless!! If you go to MAAC make sure you ask for Amber. A true gem!!! read more

I went to Macy's this afternoon to buy my sister's birthday present. As we waited for the sales associate to return with a perfume tester, a DJ next to the MAC area began blasting music so loud, my sister and I were forced to shout at each other. I approached three sales reps about the volume but everyone just gave me an apologetic shrug. I felt as if I were trapped in a trendy teen shop and not a high-end department store. If I'm spending $115 for a bottle of perfume, I expect a little more sophistication then I was exposed to today. read more
