What a AWESOME experience with Eat Right Atlanta. Before heading into a recent checkup at Emory, I saw the Eat Right Atlanta table setting up and wondered what they were offering. Once I finished my checkup and headed back downstairs, I was so excited to see two tables full of some beautifulllll produce. I had things to do and people to see... but that produce was calling my name. So I answered! I was a bit confused at first as to the process, but one of the team members took the time to explain the process quickly and it all made sense. They offer a long sheet of paper that allows you to choose produce in single-serving sizes, prepared packages and more. The offerings seem to vary based on the day, but the offering for the day included over two dozen options! I was tempted to go overboard but ended up going with: a single-serving size of bell peppers (which = 2 huge peppers), a single-serving size of mini cucumbers (5 in a bag) and a 5-variety fruit bag where I chose: peaches, cherries, kiwis, pink lady apples and barlett pears. In total I spent $32 with tax and WOW - did I get my moneys worth. The produce was plentiful, delicious and high-quality. I was so excited to get home to eat them and find different ways to use them. This is truly a wonderful pop-up to support and now that I know where and when to find them, you can bet that I'll be relying on them for my produce needs! read more

We've tried a handful of produce delivery services over the last few years, and I have to say though we've enjoyed quite a few, I've never been as impressed as I was when our first delivery showed up today. We did the family box instead of a pick your own option because I like the excitement of not knowing exactly what's coming. When it was delivered this afternoon everything in there was stuff my family really likes. The price was the same as what we've paid with other services but the amount of food that was delivered was way more, and as fresh as we've ever gotten! I did a one time order last night when I discovered the website, but based on this first experience we are subscribing and setting up regular deliveries immediately and will probably set it up for the grandparents too. Well done, we're very impressed for sure! read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon (the market closes at 3 PM), and strangely, it felt empty. There's no public restroom. If you need to go, your best bet is to find a nearby restaurant and buy something to use their bathroom. If you choose to walk, be prepared for strong smells and scattered trash. There's a plant nursery tucked away in the back with beautiful flowers, but unless your car is right there, good luck carrying a big pot back. That being said, the produce is fresh, local, and often better in price and quality than what you'll find in the supermarket and other grocery stores. You might find tropical fruits and vegetables not found anywhere else.

You will find an abundance of in season produce, a lot of it is grown organically but it's not labeled organic, it's an entire situation behind that so google or watch a Netflix documentary. All of the produce items are sold by the pound so buy what you need and shop responsibly. You may have to inquire about bulk purchases. The produce is always fresh, I also get homemade butter from here and backwood homemade favorites like chow chow, toe jam, they have teas, etc. It really is a hidden gem. You can use EBT & debit/credit cards, I'm not so sure about cash so please inquire before going. Support your local farmers and give these folks a try.

Anytime I think of fresh produce, I think of flied and gnats...Seeing them is a sign that the food is natural. If you don't see them,perhaps ask yourself why? The word "organic" is no longer solely associated with a plant grown out of the earth. When you go there, ask what they harvest on site vs what's imported. You may be awakened. Bring cash unless you mind paying a transaction fee for your card purchase. Most importantly, support this business with an open mind. The community needs this.

Their meat selection was slim and their side dishes were slimmer. One of the draws of H-Mart is their food court and this one was definitely lacking. Definitely a hard skip and just go elsewhere for Korean/Asian groceries.

I did not look at their meat and seafood options, but I thought their selection for everything else was decent. I did notice there are a lot of Vietnamese items in the store, but I found things I needed to restock here. They have a small frozen section and grabbed a few items to try at home.
