Love this place! I Always find great deals and great finds. Never crowded and easy to shop. Very reasonable prices, and name brands available. This place is maintained clean and fresh. The staff is very freindly and helpful. Here the coupons are not accepted as they are already discounted. Ample free car parking available in front of the store. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!!!! I purchased a bottle of men's Sauvage cologne for my boyfriend for Christmas on 12/11/25 on Macy's.com. I found the same size bottle of the cologne for a cheaper at Ulta and decided to purchase it instead but I was unable to cancel my order at Macy's due to the item had already shipped to the store. Once the order arrived at Macy's I was notified to pick it up on 12/22. While at Macy's store pick up area in Morrow. Ga I told the employee that I decided that I didn't want the cologne and I wanted a refund due to finding it at a cheaper price from a different store. The employee stated I had to go ahead and sign the receipt stating I picked it up but I could leave the product with them and call customer service to ask for a refund. The next day on 12/23 I called customer service about my refund and the customer service rep stated I should receive an email about my refund and I never received anything from them. In January I decided to try to get my money back through my bank, after 2 months worth of investigating my bank stated I had to contact Macy's because they were stating that I picked the item up but in reality I DID NOT! I've tried contacting them 3 different times and each time they have gave me the run around and I just want my MONEY BACK! MACY'S AT SOUTHLAKE MALL IS HORRIBLE AND I DO BELEIVE THE EMPLOYEE THAT HELPED ME THAT DAY TOOK THE COLOGNE AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT IN THE END!! So since Covid happened malls are different I would say they are usually understaffed and the quality of merchandise is not that great. I would say it was clean , had a lot of staff covering registers. I also would say slot of ppl were on their phones while ringing ppl up she would ring me up then use her phone lol. Despite the aftermath of the pandemic, this Macy is still going strong. I had to buy some fall clothes so I decided to go inside the store. This Macy's still has its classy flare to it with the many different designer hand bags and performs. They have reduced staff which makes sense but everyone is hospitable and courteous. I went into the perfume section of the store. I was talking to the sales representative named Ms. Rhonda who was very nice and helpful. I ended up getting the new Juicy Couture perfume. It didn't disappoint and I was very relieved in the product they ended up giving me some samples. You honestly can't beat that at all. read more

I chose the best day of the year (Christmas Eve) to shop so keep that in mind as you read this review lol. I had to make a return so I headed to Macys & once inside I saw the return line wrapped all the way back to nearly the jewelry & perfume counter! I just wanted to return a pair of shoes so I went over to the shoe dept but there was only 1 worker & she did not seem very pleasant. Granted she was probably pissed to be working Christmas but anyway...! After about an hour I made it through the line for my return & was quickly helped by the associate. This woman was so kind & kept a smile on her face & engaged each customer despite the stress of all the holiday shopping. After waiting for so long, I really appreciated her kindness & efficiency with my return process. Southlake may not be in the upper echelon of malls in Atl, but their staff is golden & I will continue to patronize this establishment! read more

I had a terrible experience with a Macy's online customer service person. I was trying to use a Macy's gift card for a purchase I was making online but there was nowhere to put the gift card number at checkout. I called Macy's customer service. I got a person that could barely speak English and asked me to repeat everything I said several times. I asked several times how much my credit card would be charged after the gift card was applied. She had no idea what I was asking. I asked to speak to her Supervisor FIVE times. She would not transfer me. I just hung up and called customer service again and spoke with someone I could understand and could understand me. This second CSR processed my order using my gift card just fine. Then I received an email from Macy's that another order was charged to my credit card (full amount - no gift card applied). That incompetent CSR processed an order for the item I had in my shopping cart for the purchase that I had not completed and charged my VISA without my permission!! I didn't give her my credit card or authorize the purchase. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the incompetent CSR. I received two identical items. Of course I had to go through the process of returning the one I never ordered. Shame on Macy's CSR. read more

This was my go to Macy's but unfortunately i won't be retuning. Maybe because i can't I got escorted out today due to the fact that my baby (2 year old) got under the one of the little tables in-front of the men's check out area and before anyone says anything i 100% understand that was not okay and i was going to fix everything and apologize but the cashier ( old guy) saw him and started screaming at my child telling him ( NO NO NO NO NO YOU CANT DO THAT LITTLE KID) like i said he was screaming not talking! screaming at a year old kid. He could've easily told me "hey ma'am watch your kid or grab your kid" but he did not he decided to scream at a 2 year old. Then i told him "you could've told him "no" once or could have told me" but he started back and forth with me and he called security and the manager. The manager ( lady with a big gap in her teeth) came with an ugly attitude telling me that there was a threat and security came later to escort me out etc. Moral of the story this is a great story to shop at if you don't have kids tbh. specially 2 year olds! it's a child come on. Mothers try their best to make sure they behave but it's hard ok give me a break! That manager definitely needs to hear out what happened first from the customer and then she can decide to have an attitude or not. We went inside Macys to the women's perfume first to get me something but the young lady was rude and snappy so I asked where was the mens cologne she just pointed towards the back. This was the worst unapologetic customer service experience encountered by a major retail store! I made the mistake of choosing my Mother's Day Bag to be SUPPOSEDLY CURBSIDE vs directly from a Coach store. I arrived an hour before the cutoff time listed and announced on Macy's website and voicemail of 8 pm. Unbeknownst to me and the other sitting ducks, NO-ONE every answered the phone or came out. Once you register that you're outside, they release a message asking you to open your trunk and an associate will be out shortly. After sitting for nearly an hour, and only choosing curbside because of a physical condition, I had to drag myself inside to retrieve my poorly presented product! Yes, you got it... the associate never answered , nor serviced curbside, never apologized for not providing any service, simply did a silent transaction and went to the back to do the unbelievable!!!!! She brought out a half wrapped $500 + tax bag, inside of a nearly lunch size Macy's bag! The experience that you normally get when buying directly from a Coach store was embarrassing for the brand. Coach has made a come back with must have styles, a pricey-price point and allowing Macy's lazy associates poorly present their bags to hard working customers. You can tell she knows there would be no repercussions from upper management for doing a silent transaction, not explaining why she didn't service curbside or advise those waiting she wouldn't be coming out or anyone else got that matter. Never apologized! I truly wanted to return the bag right then and there so that I could receive a new bag wrapped properly, placed in a proper bag and service with a smile. LESSON LEARNED! Go directly to the designers store not 3rd party sellers who can careless about your experience during the purchase. CLOSE CURBSIDE AND LET POOR PERFORMING EMPLOYEES STAY HOME AND BE MISERABLE, NOT SHIW UP TO RUIN MY RETAIL THERAPY! Yes, I've filed a complaint to corporate whether it helps or not. read more

This Macy's is one of the few remaining anchor stores at this mall. They recently changed their business hours, and now close at 8pm (instead of 9). This location has two floors and the typical departments that similar stores have. They no longer do gift wrapping or have greeting cards from what I could tell. So I go to this location often because Ms. Mary in intimates and the older gentlemen in the men's department is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! Other than that, the Estee Lauder counter is the pits!!!! This is why this location received 4 stars. As much as I love Macy's this location needs to be renovated with a GREAT, NEW facelift. The selection is far and few between and sometimes its unorganized and chaotic. The reason theh received 4 syars and not 3 is because the online ordering with same day pickup is AMAZING!!!! Buyer Beware! Last December, I bought the Nina double-reclining sofa from Macy's South Lake. It was a closeout. With a closeout, I know I take what I see with no guarantee. The price was very low - about $100 less than if I had bought it new. I was well aware that I could experience unforeseen mechanical problems. Risk accepted! The sofa was collected by an independent delivery company arranged by Macy's and arrived right on time. The delivery team set the sofa up and all was well.......until 6 months later when we heard a loud POP followed by a sizzle and crackle - not to mention the circuit breaker was thrown. The automatic reclining feature shut down - in the fully reclined position, no less. Upon inspection, we discovered that the cord plugging into the electrical outlet had been previously cut. A rudimentary splice had been attempted followed by wrapping the mess in a strip of scotch tape. All of this was tucked under the sofa so we had no occasion to see it until it failed. The cord is quite lengthy and it took several pulls to expose the fire hazard that had been delivered and installed in our living room by Macy's. Astonished, I contacted Macy's where the piece was purchased. My assumption was that the staff would be immediately apologetic and more than willing to fix the problem that could have potentially burned down us, our house, our pets, and everything we owned. That was not the case. I spoke with a couple different sales staff - one of which was responsible for the actual sale. No one would take responsibility for making the repair. Unfortunately the problem was passed to an unreachable district manager who would "do his best" to help us in "several weeks". Meanwhile, I had a useless, fully reclined sofa in my house. I have 5 pieces of furniture from Macy's and for each of them, except for the closeout, I purchased the "Worry No More" policy. I used it once on a sofa that failed almost 10 years ago. Otherwise, I haven't needed it. I was, and still am floored that Macy's South Lake sales staff and regional manager took no responsibility for correcting an issue that could have easily caused a terrible fire at my home. How dare they sell and deliver to me a sofa with a cord that had been obviously cut, spliced, and haphazardly wrapped in SCOTCH tape. Ridiculous! The happy ending is that I contacted the corporate office and explained the mess and fire hazard that had been delivered and installed in my home. The corporate office contacted me almost immediately and fixed the problem. It's a real shame that it had to require intervention by an executive at the corporate office to correct a problem that should have been an embarrassment to everyone working in the furniture department at Macy's South Lake. RAISE THE BAR INSTEAD OF LOWERING EXPECTATIONS! When I am visiting a mall for the first time, I like to find the familiar stores that I enjoy, so stopping at this Macy's was a natural choice. However, it is one of the saddest Macy's I have ever visited and is totally consistent with the flavor of the mall. It is a Macy's in name only as much of what I encountered (clothes and shoes) did not represent the quality that Macy's typically carries. I walked straight to the shoe department which is always my starting point any any department store. I believe that the shoe department reflects the tone and flavor of the store because if the shoes are not quality, I am really not interested in seeing anything else. The shoes I saw were of the "Payless" variety so I left after a quick visit. In an effort to appeal to a specific customer base, they "dumbed" down the quality and selection. If I could give negative stars, I would. This furniture store is the worst!!! Ordered a $2500 couch, the saleswoman quoted a time for delivery, that was wrong! I had to leave work early once the delivery company called me to tell me a completely different time. When I called to speak to a manager and complain, a sales associate pretended to be a manager. Blatantly lied, gave me the manager's name and everything. A week later my delivery time is set for 1-3, they called me at 3:30 to say something was wrong with my card so my furniture is not on the truck. I go back up to Macy's to complain again and this is when I found out I'd never spoken to a manager, the sales associate lied! Then I find out that there was nothing wrong with my card, the delivery truck broke down and that's why my furniture wasn't delivered! The damn delivery company lied too! I immediately cancelled the furniture. That was on 11/20. Today, 12/6, Macy's once again attempted to take $2500 out of my account but thanks to Navy Federal, they declined it. Now I call Macy's AGAIN and they tell me, we can see where you attempted to cancel, but it wasn't cancelled. Bish whet?!? If I cancelled it, why wasn't it cancelled?!?! I'm currently on hold, and have been for the last 20 minutes waiting for an answer to this question. Smh. Save yourself the time and energy, don't go to this Macy's! This macys is deplorable and needs to be closed. The women at the fine jewelry counter are lazy and liars and the store manager supports their behavior. I ordered a pair of SISimone earrings online and they were not what I expected. I went in to return them at this location. The first sales rep (new employee) told me they no longer accepted fine jewelry returns at the store. I would need to call macys and have them send me a return label and ship via ups.....I assumed because she was new she had been misunderstood the policy so I requested a manager. The jewelry lead Cynthia comes over and tells me the EXACT same thing. She added it was a corporate policy that's been in place since last year. I told her that's not true because I have ordered jewelry online and returned at that very store this year with no problem. She then advised macys corporate is now enforcing it because they had not been enforcing it. She told me it applied to both fine and fashion jewelry. I guess they thought I was stupid. I then asked for the store manager, they called for this person and she told them she was with a customer and it would 30 minutes before she could help me. I ask the lady where is she? I will go to her. All of a sudden Kerri comes up introduces herself, she's not the store manager but a different lead, I explain my need to return a pair of $40 earrings and she too stated this same lie. Mind you on my receipt it was printed that this return could be made in the store on shipped back. I received the earrings in the mail the day before so I didn't even have them 24 hours before I returned them. In the meantime this woman walks up doesn't introduce herself but just stands there and listens to me question Kerri about this phantom corporate macys policy. Kerri continues to say they are not allowed by corporate to accept any jewelry returns but as a "courtesy" can have a return label printed and ship it back for me. They cannot credit me in the store only when the jewelry is delivered back to the warehouse will I receive my money back. She then calls macys customer service and is placed on hold for a return label. At this point I have now been waiting for over 30 minutes. The woman that walked up finally introduced herself as Cassandra the store manager. She repeated this same policy and said it was clear instructions from corporate to not accept jewelry returns in the store. I showed her the receipt that came with the earrings showing where returns can be made in store or shipped back. Casandra then responded, I'm surprised they are still printing that on those receipts. Now it's been 40 minutes and I advised all 4 women that I was contacting macys corporate regarding this. When I called I spoke with Charlotte at the executive office who said that is NOT Macys policy and I should have been allowed to return those earrings. She pulled up my order and saw I was well within the 30 days to return and there was no corporate policy sent to any store to not accept jewelry returns. I am seriously considering going to the media about this, that was an act of discrimination that I'm truly disgusted with. Charlotte apologized profusely but that was not enough to erase the disgraceful experience and the complete waste of time that I cannot get back due to their not wanting to complete a 2 minute return.
