Received my order and nothing worked, so I returned it (beware- returns are $10 using Fed ex as their carrier or whatever price you pay to your own carrier to send items back). I sent my items via UPS on Dec 18 and it was verified as received on Dec 22. I have reached out via email several times and still have not received a refund as of January 10. This was over $100 of merchandise. To have to wait so long for a significant amount of money back when you have done everything correctly and no longer have the items, is extremely frustrating. As an online ordering experience, it has been very bad as compared to EVERY other store I order from online. If they had a physical store near me, I may shop there, but would never order online from them again. read more

Horrible customer service. Trey Harper and his crew of sales associates are the worst. Purchased a floor lamp which arrived missing parts. Gave Ashley 2 opportunities to send the correct parts and nothing. Was told I had to return the lamp they would not pick it up. That was 8 months ago and I have still not received my credit. Spoke to Jessica a week ago who had me on hold for 30 minutes to come back and say I'll call you back in an hour... crickets! I was told today they can see the credit but there was nothing they can do it's up to corporate to push it through. No way to contact anyone they can only send an email. Worst service ever. This is one of my favorite shopping destination. I rarely visit this particular location. They usually don't have a large selection when I go. But I took a chance. Unarmed without coupons I was reluctant to make a purchase. Then I spotted to RED BLAZER that I have been dreaming about. Without I second thought I immediately took it to the register. The sales associate greeted me with a friendly smile asked a couple question and announced they are passing out 40% coupon. Hallelujah that just made my day I was one satisfied customer! read more

My mom was in town visiting from California and needed an outfit for an event. She wanted to visit an Ashley Stewart; I live about equal distance between Fayetteville and Lithonia (both have Ashley Stewart stores) but I decided to go to the location in Fayetteville. Wrong choice. We walk in and NOBODY greets us -- there are 3 - 4 sales associates in the store with 2-3 customers but nobody says Hello. In total, we were in the store for about 20-30 minutes looking through racks and at most there were 5 customers in the store including us at some point, and yet not one sales associate even asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be harrassed when I walk in a store, but I do expect some type of "hello", or "may I help you find something?" or "we have bras 50% off today, please let me know if I can help you select a size" from somebody who works there. But here is the worst part of the visit and what prompted me to write this review....After looking through the racks, finally, my mom found some items that she wanted to try on, so I went to find one of the aloof sales clerks in the store. One woman in particular -- an older woman (approx 50 - 60 years of age) with a brown wig on - was exceptionally rude. I approached her as she was standing at the cashier stand and she was thumbing through binder of papers. I said "Excuse me, ma'am" she said "mmm hmmm " and never gave me the respect of looking up from her papers. I waited for her to lift her head up and when it was clear she wasn't going to look up, I said "My mother would like to try on a few items can someone unlock the door?" The woman turned to one of the other workers and said, "can you get that?". I'm thinking... "Come on, lady! We're here to contribute to YOUR salary -- you should act more respectful and hospitable to customers in your store!" -- However, I kept my cool and thanked the woman who ultimately responded and opened the door. All in all, I was appalled at the how the sales associates acted in this store. I was thankful that nothing my mother tried on was to her liking because after that experience, I didn't want to give these people one thin dime of our hard earned money. As a general rule, I don't spend money where I'm not treated well, so needless to say, I'll never be back to this store. Seriously, corporate or the area manager needs to instill some basic standards in the local management and staff at this store regarding how to say hello, make customers feel welcomed and showing common courtesy and respect. Maybe others will keep shopping at this store despite having to deal with the sales associates acting as if they are doing customers a favor by being there, but I absolutely will not. If the Ashley Stewart store in Fayetteville ends up having to close (like more than a few of the stores in the Fayette Pavillion have in the past year), they deserve it and will have earned it -- the sales associates in this store obviously could not care less if customers are there or not anyway. read more
