So glad to find a small town coffee shop on my way home, Mad Goat has all the right ingredients, fun redeemed barn atmosphere, tons of space, the world map art, big menu, and the best, those seasonal drinks. Had to grab an egg nog latte, these have taken over winter like I've did summer and I'm a fan! The friendly staff took my personal cup tho didn't notice any discount for it. At least they're offering a rewards program, will need to get to the other locations too! My drink had all the right Christmas notes, thick nog, tingly espresso, saved my next hour roadtrip over the river and through the woods. read more

There are two Mad Goat Coffee locations in Danville and this one is in prime real estate just off of Highway 74. Everything about this place makes for a really great coffee shop, from the drinks to the ambiance. If I'm looking for a pick me up drink, I feel as if Mad Goat will have something for any mood and climate. I don't drink coffee, but they have plenty of non-coffee options here. Their London Fog is solid, Chai Latte is a winner and they do a pretty good job with their matcha drinks. Those are for cooler days. If I need something to cool me down or simply hydrate me, their sparkling lemonades always hit the spot and their smoothies can be really refreshing. I imagine their coffee is good too. Mad Goat offers more than just delicious drinks. They are partners with Royal Donut, so you can grab one of those, or other baked goods. One thing that is super underrated are the various options for those with dietary restrictions. I typically get oat milk in my drinks, and they have vegan baked goods as well. I find it super inclusive! What sets this location apart is the general space and ambiance. There is just so much space in the facility that can cover many purposes. There are plenty of long tables to sit with people and chat, couches for relaxation, a meeting room for privacy and outdoor seating to get some extra sun with your drink. This location does such a great job at making you feel comfortable, and is my go-to spot if I am in town and need a place to chill. read more

I came in from out of town to adopt a cat and while I was waiting on some logistical things I stopped by and grabbed a scone and some coffee. Super cute place with a great vibe - good for doing work or just hanging out. There is an open garage door in the back with picnic tables to sit outside. My favorite coffee shop I've ever been to! I've been to TONS of "fancy" coffee shops but Mad Goat is special. The employees are always SO friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is wonderful. The seating options are great. And the coffee....... AMAZING! Their seasonal or specialty drinks are always so yummy! I highly recommend asking the employees for their favorite drinks! They always have great recommendations! Their baked goods and bagels are also amazing! My favorite is their everything bagel with the chive cream cheese is so delicious! This is a really nice local business. Their coffee and scones are delicious. (Haven't tried the muffins yet.) The scones aren't rock solid like you usually find them at other places. They are softer almost moist. Absolutely delicious with coffee. The place is super clean, has plenty of seating, and free WiFi. If you are traveling by on 74 and need a snack and a nice beverage I highly suggest you stop in! There is PLENTY of parking in their lot. Friendly staff! They do accept Apple Pay. read more

Stopped here for coffee on a road trip and was happily surprised! This is a great spot, cool industrial interior, big and bright! I would love to stay here and enjoy coffee on the big cute patio. The chocolate chip scone was delicious! Soft and moist, a little crumbly but mostly an amazing dense bread. So good! My raspberry mocha and black coffee my husband had were both great! We will definitely be stopping here again on our trips through Illinois. It's also right off the highway, super easy in and out. read more

The staff is friendly. This place is pretty good if no customers are here, but if there is the wait is ridiculous. I would have left if there was any closer coffee spot. I guess when you got the market cornered you don't have to be speedy for customers in the morning read more

Love the coffee and the bakery items. All very well made and tasty. I'd have given 5 stars if not for the cups and lids they use on their coffee. I stop most mornings and get a large cup of coffee to go. It's a rare occasion that I can make it the 50 yards or so from my car to the front door of work without the lid popping off and getting hot coffee on my hands! Please get a better cup/lid combo. A few of my coworkers have complained about the same thing. Aside from that, I definitely recommend stopping here for coffee if you're in the area! read more

Had to sit at the counter because all tables were taken. The counter was absolutely disgusting. Thick grime and sticky. A wet rag could not possibly clean it--it requires deep cleaning. I was grossed out and left. The health department should shut the place down. It's stunning what they are getting away with. I am in the area frequently but will never ever go back. I cannot understand why the locals continue to pack the place. Worst counter I have ever seen and that includes in third world countries. Ugh. read more

We are visiting from out of state and stopped in here. We went at 6:15 am, we walked in and no one said anything despite the fact that we were the only ones in there and there were several Employees standing at the front counter. The girl took my order with an annoyed look on her face. I wanted to ask if she'd had her coffee yet because her attitude was so poor. I got a cold brew which was pretty good. Very smooth! I just wish the service quality matched the coffee quality. read more
