Unsure where to have it looked at when I drove back to Rocky Mountain House, I was about to pull into one of the national chain automotive centres, when I spotted a classic 1970s Beetle in the parking lot of Western Alignment & Brake. I took it as an omen and stopped. Gordon could not have been nicer. He gave it an assessment and found time to have it re-aligned the following morning. He also recommended that Volkswagen look at replacing a part that he felt was worn/defective and should be covered by warranty. Then sent me on my way in a timely manner. All the staff that I interacted with, Christina and Ryan were both courteous, friendly and professional. And the shop rates were more than reasonable.
