This place is great. Their banana chocolate chip muffin is literally one of the best that I have ever had. Insanely good.

Cute local coffee shop with good coffee, baked goods and simple savory dishes. ****They have a large back patio that they don't advertise**** Been stopping in here for the last few years in the summer and not sure why they have no signage for the best part of their cafe. Very odd! Only learned about it recently due to an open mic night in the evening. They also showcase local artists in the cafe. read more

The food and coffee are delicious here! It's a small space, but there are a few tables and stools for dining in. We went here on Easter weekend, and the customers just kept piling in on the Saturday morning when 1 poor girl was trying her best to keep up! It was worth the wait! There are beautiful paintings, pottery and jewellery all done by local artists for sale too. Quality coffee! read more

Don't ever buy from this place. It scams tourists and outsiders into buying overpriced and mediocre coffee by waving "Locally brewed" in their faces and their stylish interior. Don't fall for this. read more

While visiting Ontario, we stopped in Barry's Bay. I looked on Yelp for coffee shops and found nothing in the area. A lady at the local Metro grocery store pointed me to Madawaska Coffee Inc. As we approached, I had a good feeling about the shop. As we entered, I saw their roaster and professional espresso machine and got more hopeful. The staff was helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about coffee and roasting. I got a small cappuccino, less hot. The temperature was just right and the coffee was slightly nutty and slightly sweet with no bitterness. The person helping me also roasts their coffee and explained to me that this is their espresso blend. I was impressed with the quality and flavor. My family got other drinks and found them excellent. Anyone passing through looking for a great coffee should stop here. I also purchased a pound of their locally roasted coffee and am looking forward to trying it. read more

Got there 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday afternoon. OMG I hope this is what Heaven smells like. The girl was great. Friendly (cause it was just before closing), got a tour (all of 15 seconds, not a large space), ordered a double shot (WOW), got a bag of Bold and a bag of Bold Maple. Put my bags in the trunk and went shopping. Came back after 45 minutes (it's 31c) and the car smelt AWESOME. This would make a great air freshener. Will be going back before we leave the area. Hope they can ship some to me when I run out ;-) read more
