So it makes buying gifts extremely difficult. I chose not to purchase gifts here because of the 7 day exchange policy. That just isn't realistic. I really wanted to get my sister a cute Chiefs shirt for her birthday but no way I'm paying that much money & if it didn't fit her she wouldn't have time to exchange it within a week by the time I purchased it & then got the gift to her. Then had to return it. That's a stupid exchange timeframe. That cuts out a lot of my shopping from there.

Anyway, the clothing was in disarray all over the store with plain shirts scattered here and there and mixed in with the furry monstrosities. I just thought it was hard to navigate if you are like me and are looking for a particular thing. Now, the prices were on the borderline of gouging. $50 for a plastic necklace? $35 for rhinestone hoop earrings? I've seen more unique pieces for less at other boutiques. The service was slightly off putting as well. I was one of three customers in the shop, and was asked three times within the 15 minutes I was there if I was doing alright. YES, let me shop woman. I'm not saying it was bad service, but edging on annoying. So after all this, you ask did I even buy anything? Yes, of course, I bought a scarf. I always do because I love them. I have to admit it was one I have never seen the likes of. But once again, $20 for an acrylic scarf? A bit steep. I do recommend this if you are looking for some cute new jewelry or any number of boutique items, as you will find them. But be ready to pay too much for everything.

We were greeted when we walked in by the most lovely lady. She helped me with a shirt and even sparked up a nice conversation during my checkout. I got the cutest glasses for my basement bar and a fun tailgate shirt to wear in Vegas for the Chiefs game we are going to in January. The Mgr. said she'd take them back but no store credit or cash refund. How much sense did it make to return for zero reimbursement? The current business offers a fun array of quirky fashions, carefully curated by the owner. There are work-ready items, fun novelty tees, denim, fashion-forward kimono robes, boho dresses, unique and arty accessories, and a neat selection of shoes and booots. The owner is personable and friendly, and is happy to talk about how she puts her collection together. I appreciated that she is cognizant of offering fun fashion for all body types, seems to be extremely body-positive, and is really helpful and enthusiastic. Prices are consistent with other independent boutiques in the area, and she actually had a significant sale going on when I was in so that she could turn over some inventory. A quick scramble with Siri lead me to to Trapp and Co where I met Sarah. She was quick to understand both my predicament and help me create an arrangement that was FAR superior to my original one (for a heck of a lot less than I paid another florist). Valentine's Day can often mean a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. At 5:45 PM though, Sarah took the time to ask me about the type of arrangement I would ideally want and crafted this amazing piece.
