ReStore sells new and used appliances (e.g., washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves), furniture (e.g., couches, chairs, dining sets, and dressers), building materials (e.g., hardware, flooring, light fixtures, plumbing supplies, and windows), and home décor at low prices. The proceeds from the sales are used to build and repair housing for low-income families in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, I emailed ReStore to ask if they would accept my shelving unit, coat rack, light fixtures, space heater, flower pots, hose hangers, and other items. I was required to send photos of the items to show the style and condition. Two days later, an employee replied that they would accept my items, and he scheduled a pickup from my house for several days later. On the pickup day, the pickup window was from 9 AM to 3 PM, and 15 minutes before the driver arrived at my house, he called me to inform me that he was on his way. The driver pulled up to my house in a truck (see the attached photo). He was very polite, and he moved my items from my driveway into his truck. At the end of his visit, he handed me a receipt, and he kindly thanked me and wished me a great day.

You could easily spend a couple hours browsing through here and sadly I only had 15 or 20 mins. We left with 3 ceramic bowls that were priced extremely fairly for the quality. I'll be back again to spend more time and surely find more steals.

Found this place and was excited to find a new thrift store. The sign said "50% Off EVERYTHING…read moreexcept Blue Tags". This made it even better. When I checked out my stack of movies, there was no discount. I asked why they weren't discounted and was told "oh they just arent". I referenced the sign that says "50% Off EVERYTHING" and mentioned that they need to update their sign if there are restrictions to the "everything". I was ignored and she then stated "movies are never discounted." I replied, again that isn't on your sign. Horrible.​​​
