The team was on time, very polite and left the property looking sooooooo much better than when they arrived. Can't say enough about how nice of a job they did. Very reasonable pricing, for what they accomplished. Kevin and his crew are the only folks to call for your tree needs.

He seemed nice and he said that they could do it this week so I picked his company. Since he did not give me an appointment time, the burden was on me to keep in touch with him as to the status of the pending job. Two days later a 3man crew came late in the day, they did about 2/3ds of the job, ran out of room in the debris truck and promised they'd come the next morning between 7-8am to finish the job. They did not come next day. I called Kevin and he said they'd get to it later that day. It rained most of morning but was clear in pm. At 4:41 I left a voice message and he texted me a half hour later that the crews had gone home for the day at 12pm. No one had told us that. We spent the day on alert for their trucks. We had needed to do an important medical errand and instead had waited for them all day so we were upset and I let him know that. He claimed it was a misunderstanding, that he had expected the crew boss to contact us. But Kevin is the scheduler and it was his responsibility. If he's not on top of what each of his crews is doing then it tells me there isn't good communication within the company. It's really not a good sign when a company blames their communication problems on the customer. Next day a different 5man crew did come and finished the job in the rain. They worked fast and I appreciated that. They were packing up and my husband pointed out another huge part of the trunk that still needed to be taken and they got that, so it was important that we were there for it. Kevin blamed it all on the weather and on me for being upset about one missed update, everything but himself. He couldn't hear that the medical errand we missed while waiting for his crew was important to us. He also claimed that they got to the job faster than anyone else would have. To that I say this was a 2hour job and should have been done in 1 session. It's not a kindness to do a big chunk of a job fast, then and leave the customer, who is now committed to you, twisting in the wind for days. The tree could have waited till a scheduled one session appointment with someone else. He said he didn't want me to call him again since he felt I'd gotten 'worked up' over nothing. I said I had no intention of calling him again. I understand the vagaries of weather and that they get a lot of emergency calls. But it would have taken him half a minute to text me that they weren't coming. I'm glad there are 24/7 emergency tree services of which Newcomb is one. But if your tree situation is not an emergency then it's likely that your job might fall through the cracks. I do not recommend Newcomb Tree Service, Kingston Springs, TN

I had one tree up against my house and they took great care to make sure it fell away from anything that could be damaged. Through some research on yelp and google, I eventually had 3 different companies come out and quote me. Including Dever and MIG. I don't leave many reviews on social media, but I trusted Dever's assessment of our situation above and beyond any of the other companies. His recommendations not only ended up saving us from Wasting unnecessary $, but he also identified a couple trees which he recommended for me removal, which I hadn't thought of. And he was right. When they were removed today it was obvious they had major termite damage internally, which I never would have been able to identify myself, nor did any of the other groups mention it. If we would have left those trees, we would have had some substantial risk to our home and other structures if they would have fallen naturally. Dever and his team's communication was quick and did exactly what they suggested they would, in the timeline they originally presented. I'm super pleased with the overall results, how they cleaned up, and the value of this entire project. Im not sure how far MIG travels but if you're in or around Williamson county I would definitely recommended talking with Dever and MIG.

He claimed his saw was stolen and had to use ours. However, he dropped the tree and then never came back and stole the saw as well. He should write a book on excuses and would do better in life. He quoted me a fair price and I signed a contract to have him take down and remove the tree. He came over, chainsawed the tree down and brought it down brushing up against my neighbor's house. When I went outside to inquire about the insurance he had posted on his card, he told me he would get the information the following day. Instead of driving his truck and trailer along the edge of my neighbor's yard, he drove right across the front of it breaking several sprinkler heads. So, in addition to the heads, I had to pay for a new gutter and electric outlet cover that Nick damaged because Nick has failed to return a single phone call or repeated text. In addition, the three foot stump he left in my yard is an eyesore despite telling me he would trim it down to ground level. He also made a point of saying how important cleanup was to him. I guess in his rush to leave the job he decided that removing the piles of sawdust wasn't a priority. The stuffing of the empty cigarette pack into the stump was a nice touch, I am sure it would have broken down in 25-30 years. I am disappointed that he didn't take responsibility for his actions. A simple apology to my neighbor and taking care of the damage he caused should have been the least he did. I don't want anyone else to have to go through the inconvenience and added expense that I did.
