I love supporting this local Catholic shop. My wife first brought me here when we were dating, and I've loved it ever since. For our wedding, I chose St. Joseph as my patron saint, and I was able to find everything I needed here--prayer cards for my groomsmen, as well as the book Consecration to St. Joseph. I've also bought holy water bottles here, filled them, and shared them with coworkers--including one who is a non-practicing Catholic--along with prayer cards and a prayer book. My hope is to help encourage them to return home to the Catholic Church. I know you can find some of these items online or on Amazon, but you don't always know what you're getting. There's something special about shopping in person, and it feels good to support a local Catholic business. Plus, the Gregorian monk chants they play in the store make the whole place feel peaceful--it's like you're walking into something truly good and holy. The prices are worth it, and the service is excellent. They're always there to help, and if they don't have something, they'll even suggest another Catholic store or help you find it elsewhere. When I lived here and my boys went to Our Lady of Assumtion, I would come to this store all the time. This was at least 20 years ago. Now that there's younger ones in my house, I made a trip out here to pick up some items that I couldn't find in Vegas. The lady at the register was super nice we had to buy multiples of something and she gave us maybe three cents off of each one so that really helped. If you're looking for more Christian faith based things it was very hard to find within the store so it's definitely Catholic which is in the name so that's very obvious but we needed something last minute and we did find what we need so we would definitely go back! I normally don't hand out five stars to any business, but on my arrival to this store, there was only one woman working there at the time, the Pisces was packed, it was very busy. She greeted me, while keeping track of several customers and handling their needs, when I spoke to her, she recognized my voice and remembered what I called about, got the items that I needed and that was that. A beautiful store for all your Catholic supplies and gifts. You can even find other items appropriate for other Christian traditions. The highlight of the store aside from the merchandise available? Is the lovely lady behind the counter. Michelle is such a nice person, and a beautiful Soul. If you need any religious items this is the place to go. Also at the back of the store is a collection of dolls in their different Habits. It's really interesting to look at for sure. Best Catholic store I've been to. On my first visit I was amazed on how much religious items there are for the catholic faith. From crucifixes to sacramental gifts and to small trinkets,prayer cards, and pins. Long story short there is a huge selection. Prices vary depending on what you're looking for. Got a Bible for my confirmation there at a pretty good price. Customer service is phenomenal I believe it's family owned and they are very nice and always looking out if you are in need of help. What a charming little gift shop. Quite impressive. And I am not even Catholic. So, what the heck was I doing in there? Shopping for gifts for my little nieces and nephews who would be celebrating their first communion. A very special family occasion and one that needed to be praised. So much to choose from. Literature, books, rosary beads, crucifixes, jewelry, and many other religious what-nots. I was having so much fun, I needed to push back that feeling of being almost jealous they were to be the ones getting the gifts. After much consideration, we came away with two matching, adorable rosary bracelets, glass heart shaped beads that were colorful and very girlish, yet very appropriately religious. The nephew would be getting a beautiful iridescent St. Christopher medal on a chain. Both were very good quality items, reasonably priced, and quite special. This place is great! I am Catholic and was looking for a rosary for my son's First Holy Communion. I went to another Catholic Gift & Book shop nearby where they had a selection of 2...but at Madonna's there was at least 100 to choose from!!! Their website made it sound like they only sold rosary parts but they sell a whole bunch more (the website does need some work). Lots of general Christian and specific Catholic gifts to choose from. I wish I knew about this place earlier, it would have been a one stop shop for my son's First Communion! They are located in an unassuming strip mall with a vinyl banner as their sign. I was a bit hesitant to come to this shop because I am not Catholic. I am glad I came. This is a beautiful shop. There's various religious paraphernalia including a large selection of prayer cards. I went in looking for a plaque of the Prayer of St. Francis. They were out of stock but the shopkeeper was helpful in trying to locate one. This is such a great store for all religious items. They have items for firemen, policemen, nurses, etc... baptismal's, first communion, confirmation, memorials, anything you would need for praising our Lord. It's like a candy store for your soul. I love this place, they've got beautiful Bibles, books, jewelry and gift items. The employees are exceptionally kind, knowledgeable and helpful. They do an annual Christmas party the first part of December it's so fun make sure you contact the store to find the date and time. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. They're open 10 to 5 Tuesday through Friday and 10 to 4pm on Saturday. I think they extend their hours around holiday time like Christmas and Easter. I love this place! read more
